Throughout the entirety of time there had been trillions of unique stories, each with their own protagonists, plots, chapters, beginnings, and endings. From stories of love to stories of utter tragedy, the telling of many of these stories had been passed on for countless generations, now forever in engraved into the memories of those who no longer exist.”

This sounds pretty good I must say as it rings a bell of truth. "Each with their own..." meaning that everyone makes their own history (the term "history is written by the victors" fits with what I am saying here). However, the ending... it is as if the ones who were supposed to learn this history are dead. Part of the story I guess?

Oh okay, I think you're referring to where I mentioned "beginnings and endings," right? Well going by what you're saying, you are correct when you assume that ones who learned of this history are dead. My story takes place in a distant future in a dystopian setting. So much time had passed by that the concept of history is beginning to lose its meaning.
