  1. Conversations with people online are easy to abandon and forget. You can easily disregard the person's feelings online. After all, we're all just intangible icons wandering around like ghosts in this two dimensional medium. In real life, you cannot abandon the conversation midway without coming off as rude. That is what bothers me here sometimes. :/

      You are right about that. However, if you really put yourself into it, you might find it easier to remember.

       

      Conversations online are also so due to time zones. When you are online, there a lot more people you are able to discuss with since you can talk to someone who lives on the other side of the world. But replies will not always come immediately since time zones interfere.

      Online conversations tend to go this way because when you're using that PC already, you're usually busy actually doing something else. It provides you with distractions which you don't have during regular conversations. And these distractions influence the frequency of one's replies. #Khajiit'sHeadcanon on social interactions via this media.
