And yeah, down here in Louisiana we don't have too many Spanish speakers. A few, but not a ton, and most can speak English anyways.

Now I wouldn't say there is a ton of people who speak french however either, honestly I rarely hear anyone speak french around where I live, except in school for fun and practice. Plus the French that's technically native to here is cajun French, which is a bit different than normal Fr...

Dsanders, I have long hair myself, and believe me when I tell you that here is nothing more horrifying than feeling a strand of hair in your mouth, but being forced to eat one? God, I can't imagine how Pink must be feeling right now

It's a dumb rant I know, but that is just how I feel at this moment -_-

Try listening to a recording of an individual with the accent you are trying to imitate and figure out what parts of their mouth they are using, how they form their mouth, and try to reproduce that little by little. Also, don't worry about if you sound ridiculous otherwise you'll just form a mental block, rendering you unable to do it at all.

And learning how a particular accent says a few specific words, can help you get started. Like the British pronunciation of "Tomato" for instance.
