  1. Honestly, I don't find the multiverse that believable or convincing of a concept. It's supported by mathematical proofs that may or may not ever be applicable to the physical universe. Right now it just seems like abstract nothings. All its scientific definitions begin with "hypothetical." It's surprising that scientists are already discussing the possibility of an omniverse. At least that's what I heard. The multiverse was enough of a stretch to begin with. It's all starting to sound like pseudoscientific nonsense... It's a cool idea that has inspired numerous works of science fiction. It's nonetheless an unfalsifiable idea. Whether or not there are other universes, I don't think we'll be able to find that out in this lifetime or the next. I'm not really too concerned. I'm happy living in this universe. This universe is vast and full of beautiful stars, galaxies, nebulae, as well as infinite opportunities to explore and discover what more is out there. I don't see why there needs to be more universes.
  2. I know how you feel. I just got my permit a few months after my 20th birthday. Hopefully I can get my license sometime this year. Best of luck to you
  3. @@Steel Accord, Since you seem to know a lot about various cities, do you happen to know what cities in Sweden, Scotland, Canada, or Alaska would have the lowest costs in terms of housing? It's alright if you don't. It's just those are the places I have in mind for the future so far.
  4. What are somethings you've always wanted to learn and become a master in? This could include any subjects or skills that have deeply interested you. You never seem to have the time to learn them at the moment (you have more time than you think; procrastination is really what gets in the way) but you would like to learn them at some point in the future. I would like to learn as much astronomy, geology, biology, environmental science, paleontology, meteorology, and botany as I can so I can have a better understanding of the natural world and the heavens above. I also wish to achieve fluency in seven languages: Spanish, Swedish, Portuguese, French, Hebrew, Greek, and Russian. I've also been interested in gaining experience in some sort of craftsmanship, whether it be automotive mechanics, welding, or carpentry. Sadly, there's no resources close to where I live that can help me in that area
  5. Nothing like a short brisk walk

A walk in the cold is always bliss. <3 Is it cold where you are?

It's actually been warm this week. I normally walk at night.

  6. I'm feeling relaxed. Just drove again with my dad. Mastered both left turns and right turns. I feel a great sense of accomplishment and I can't wait to get my drivers license in the following months hopefully. Other than that, I'm kinda bored atm but like I said I also feel relaxed. I feel like my day is complete.
  7. That's great that you're getting along with someone. Just don't set your hopes up too high. You're still young and you have your whole life ahead of you. There's so much you can do. Do you really know if you're ready for a relationship, never mind a long distance relationship? I can tell you from experience it's difficult and you need to be careful. I threw away 2 years of my life in a relationship on this site that wasn't going anywhere. I don't want to sound harsh. Just don't make the same mistakes as me. Don't get carried away. Love yourself, exercise, meditate, go on a hike, and have some adventures. Be happy with life! If you still want this person, I wish you the best of luck! Everyone's different so this may work for you.
  8. Yeah I can tell you from what I've researched there are plenty of beautiful places in Scotland. It's worth a visit. There's Tiree which is Scotland's most westerly island as well as the sunniest place in the country There's the National Museum of Scotland which has numerous unique exhibits from what I've seen And finally, Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Scotland. Would love to hike up there one day. Only 4,409 ft in elevation but appears to get snow during the colder seasons. It's breathtaking
  9. I've thought about trying marijuana a few times in my life. Maybe I will someday. Like a once in a lifetime thing. Though I am afraid of getting addicted to it. I'm not a fan of MLP anymore. Just doesn't do much for me these days. I guess I grew out of it. Idk. Many of the members here seem like intelligent and fun people so that's why I'm still around I'm kinda verbose on here when writing but I'm really introverted in person
  10. Hope you folks are all having a great day

  11. Life is too short to give a shit about things that don't matter. Forget the little things right now. Move on.They won't matter. Look forward to the future and focus on the good life ahead

  14. Because suffering is part of life. It's a byproduct of human nature. But know it's also temporary and fleeting like everything else What is one thing that you really enjoy doing?
  15. Beautiful. I love that upbeat melody. Made my night. Favorite hobbies?
  16. Fuck, that's my kind of paradise. I change my mind. Sweden would be easier and more cost-efficient to settle down in but if I could live anywhere in the world, I'd love to live near the Himalayas. There I could pursue my dream hobby of mountaineering and climb the highest peaks in the world.
  17. @, That's happened to me quite recently. I can guarantee that your outlook will change again later on. Our perspectives on life are always changing and adapting to the changes and vagaries that come with it I feel relaxed and happy with life right now. I'm a little bored at the moment but I'm usually bored on Sundays so it's nothing new. Looking forward to the week ahead
  18. The moon. I'd be in peace and quiet with no one to disturb me Plans for the future?
  19. Hope everyone is having a fine evening

Yeah, tbh I'm not too big on driving. I just want to get this out of the way. I plan on living in a small town in the future anyway so driving a car wouldn't be a necessity

it's expensive to be honest, gas, car repair, insurance. It just allows you to get farther than walking/ bicycle can allow. I'm taking advantage of all the campgrounds when spring hits, can;t wait.

  20. My electric guitar so I can fuck with any newcomers. If you had to be exiled anywhere of your choice after you die and remain there for all eternity (think of it like Limbo), where would you go?
  21. I believe we are all inherently evil to some extent but most of us are capable of resisting the darkness in our hearts. That's what makes us good I guess. The Lord of Flies seems to portray this moral struggle brilliantly. If you had the choice, how long would you want to live for?
  22. God damn. There's so many intelligent people here. Nice answer! Yeah, the night sky appears quite clear from where I live. I see most of the major constellations such as Orion, Cassiopeia, Perseus, Andromeda, Gemini, Lepus, Canis Major, Ursa Major, etc. I once saw a shooting star for the first time a few nights ago. Speaking of which, what is your favorite constellation? @@PonyLaces, To answer your question, no. But my family is rooting for the Carolina Panthers
