@@skbl17 Oh nice! I'll really consider having one of my OCs join. Just two more questions ... 1.) Do you have an option of being either a protagonist or antagonist? If you want to join with your OC as an antagonist, how would that work? 2.) What is the ideal level of frequency expected of us players? Judging by the massive potential this RP has, it seems like it wouldn't be that much of a problem if one were not able to post daily. lol -

My parents were always the talented and skillful ones who were admired by many while I always sat in the background. Though if swimming counts as a useful skill, I would be more than proud to say that I'm the finest swimmer you'll ever see." The mare half-jokingly bragged lifting her head a little high. She then smiled at her as she's been the friendliest pony that she has come across thus far. "Well, good night Sanura! Hope to see you around a bit more!" The mare headed off to her assigned bedroom and awaited the next day and mission with great excitement.

As the wolf departed, Rosalina was left with a blank expression on her face. It was clear that this will take a long while before she can fully understand all this sudden news. She decided to immediately gallop to her friends' homes to explain to them what was going on. Her friends were just as surprised as she was when she explained. When she told that she felt that this would a perfect opportunity to follow her destiny, her friends went from being surprised to sad knowing that their beloved friend would be gone for who knows how long. However, they understood their friend's wishes and they all shared a heartfelt farewell. And with that finally over, Rosalina followed the directions that were written on the back of the letter and headed towards the docks. Sweet Celestia, I can't believe that I'm getting my very own blimp! *squee* The more her excitement grew, the faster her pace grew as well. ((OOC: I'll let Seth have time to talk with the rest of the crew now. Rosalina will come shortly after his next post.))

@@Red Cedar "My apologies Applejack. It's just ... you're one of my favorite of the mane 6! But umm ... no worries, I'll try and behave more like myself around you." Florafilla was immensely surprised at the sudden theft that just took place out of nowhere and immediately became very confused. She wondered what a random pegasus would want with Fluttershy's stuff anyways. She decided to not bother with these questions and focus more on the scene that was unfolding before their eyes. She saw Rainbow Dash quickly take off and chase after the pegasus, who was surprisingly proving themselves to be fast enough to remain ahead of Rainbow Dash for an extended period of time. Oh this is bad ... and as much as I don't like having you plants go wild, I-I am giving you permission to take action. You remember my dear friend Fluttershy, right? Such a kind mare. Please help her retrieve her stolen luggage! Florafilla yelled anxiously in her mind. The plants responded in an millisecond as the ground began to crack. Several vines bursted out of the ground and began to dart straight towards the mysterious pegasus, some even surpassing Rainbow Dash and that one random red regasus that Flora didn't really think too much of at first. She hoped that Twilight wouldn't mind her additional help. To Flora's surprise and relief, two of the vines latched onto the pegasus legs, stopping him midair. "Now's your chance Dash!" She called out in excitement. "Take that thief down!!"

*sighs* I have to take elementary algebra for the next two years. That assessment test was poorly laid out and despite studying a lot of Geometry, there was hardly any questions about that on the test. I studied in all the wrong areas ... complete bullcrap. FML

Well the last problem makes sense now. Thanks for the help. Is the "multiply by numerator and divide by denominator" rule applicable for simplifying any multiplication problem involving a fraction and whole number? For example, would the same method work if it was 5/9(67)? That would equal 37.2 and that would be correct right?

Multiplication is just a list of factors. Some of those factors can be inverses (or parts of a whole). The denominator of a fraction usually collects all those inverses under the division bar, and all the non-inverted numbers (wholes) over the bar. So 5/9×67 is (5)(/9)(67). And as long as multiplication is commutative, you can reorder those factors whatever you please, eg. shift all inverses to the end of the list: (5)(67)(/9), which is 5×67/9.

67 is prime, so you cannot factor it any further, and the fraction 5×67/9 or 335/9 is irreducible. But 9 fits into it 37 whole times, so you can put it as (9×37 + 2)/9 and then split as 9×37/9 + 2/9 which is the same as 37×9/9 + 2/9, and this simplifies to 37 + 2/9 (37 wholes and 2 ninth parts of the remainder). If it were 2/10, then you could write 37.2, but since it's 2/9, it is actually 37.222222... or 37.(2) (a repeating decimal).

Unfortunately, as she heard the train conductor yell "All aboard!", Florafilla felt that there wasn't much time to introduce herself fully. She hoped that she would get know Twilight and the others better soon. Before making her way towards the train, Florafilla at least took the brief time to smile and greet Applejack and Pinkie Pie. @@Red Cedar, @ "Oh hi Applejack! It's an honor to meet the element of honesty. I-I'm Florafilla but you girls can just call me 'Flora.'" The mare replied before turning to Pinkie Pie. "Hehe I'm from the Everfree Forest, I don't live too far from Zecora. And of course! I would love to be the element of laughter's train buddy!" She responded as she gave a big grin and a slight squee. The trip to Canterlot was wonderful and their arrival to the Crystal Empire was especially amazing for the young green mare. She had visited Canterlot once with her mother but never before had she seen the Crystal Empire. She only recalled hearing legends but to finally see this legendary city was an opportunity of a lifetime for her. Flora was immediately startled as a dark blue pegasus swooped in and suddenly stole the saddlebags. "Ahhh!! Somepony do something!" Was all she could yell in her state of shock. Strangely a few flowers could be seem cracking and growing subtly out of the ground around her. No ... I don't think we should make a scene here. Just relax ... Everything will be fine ... I-I hope.

I came here to find shelter and I'm happy to know that not only do I have such shelter now, but I also have the opportunity to learn to defend myself." She shyly smiles. "I-I'm Rosalina Waves ... "

((OOC: I like you )) After just a few more minutes of trekking through the clearer path of the Everfree Forest, more and more of the blue open sky above began to peer through the larger openings of the forest. It was only a matter of time before the ponies would finally venture out of the forest and behold their eyes upon the world beyond. Eventually, and to Orion's immense joy, he began to see what appeared to be a little house in the distance peering at the very horizon. "Wow, we're practically already out of this wretched forest! I look forward to finally seeing some ponies wander around. Coming from a stallion as shy as me, that's saying a lot." Orion exclaimed laughingly. Upon hearing the mare's mentioning of Sugarcube Corner, his ears perked as the name sounded so familiar. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but is th-that the famous bakery where Pinkie Pie works?" Orion asked smiling. He then gave a wink to the mare upon her last sentence. "We'll see Mist. We'll see hehe.."

A wolf! How interesting. I've only heard some legends about them. I didn't know that they actually existed ... She gave a genuine smile as she saw the wolf bowed to her. For a brief moment it brought back some memories of her childhood and her time before coming to Equestria. The wolf seemed kind enough to trust for the mare. She was once again surprised upon hearing his response. "Y-your CO? Wow ... I'm not sure what to say exactly but I would be greatly honored to go on this trip with you. I just ... I just have so many questions now." Rosalina replied as many thoughts were racing through her mind. She was great intrigued but at the same time, this is happening so sudden. She hoped that this opportunity would be worth taking. She immediately turned her eyes towards his as he asked for her age. "I'm 18 years old. And you?"

Rosalina was startled slightly as the mare suddenly fired her tool at the roof a second time. She was surprised to see the demonstration of this weapon as she couldn't even see what came out of it. She understood it to be a weapon that shot wind at deadly speeds. Not wanting to bother the principal anymore than she has, she left the room along with the others. She then noticed a stallion who appeared to have not been noticed once, not even by the teacher. @, "Umm hi, I'm Rosalina. What's your name? Hehe it's surprising how easily I was accepted here. They must not have high standards, right?"

Germaney: Rosalina's home @@arkman575, It was early morning and Rosalina Waves was sleeping soundly in her little makeshift home set right alongside lake Flankfurt, Germaney's largest and most recognizable lake. She was a blue mare with blonde hair style into a french braid in the back. Her home resembled a hut and the interior was of a simple design, just as the simplistic mare preferred. Overall, Rosalina was a lover of simplicity and minimalism. As the sunlight began to peer through the small openings within her home, the mare slowly lifted her eyelids and let out a gentle yawn as she woke up. She was looking forward to yet another relaxing day, in which she would do her daily meditation and meet up in the afternoon with her other marefriends. At least ... that's what she thought. The mare was startled slightly upon hearing a sudden knock on the door. Immediately she went from being surprised to being confused. She suspected that it could be her friends, but the odd thing was that their plans to hangout were scheduled for the afternoon, not 6 in the morning. Rosalina began to make her way towards the door. That's weird. I doubt my friends would visit me this early in the morning. It's not like them to do so. And they are the only ones who know about my location here ... or so I thought. As she opened the door, her eyes widened and her ears perked up as she saw ... what appeared to be a large dog in grey military uniform. Apparently Equestria had a great variety of sentient species, not just deers and ponies. "Uh ... hi-hi there ... how did you find me? Umm... and what are you exactly? Please forgive me but I don't recognize your kind." Oddly enough, Rosalina was more curious and intrigued to know about the visitor's species rather than his reason for being there in that moment.

My favorite member is my special somepony @ I wuv you While all of my older friends seem to have been drifting away, you've never left my side. You have no idea how grateful I am for having you as my best friend here. Also, I just want to add a comment ... I've always wanted to form an awesome and dedicated circle of friends here. I've seen plenty of notable ones around here (this thread in particular) that have either been around for a while or have just recently developed. It's really cool to see such groups of friends bond together. Reminds me of the mane 6 in so many ways. I wish I could have a group of friends like that

Upon hearing an immensely loud and abrupt noise coming from the main room, Rosalina immediately jumped as she was still hiding in the spa room at the time. She was surprised that no one had found her yet ... not to mention, very thankful. She heard the principal announcing the end of the game and thus came out from her hiding spot and gathered with the rest of the students in the main room. She was in awe as she saw what the principal was holding in his hoof. It was like a menacing-looking tool. "Excuse me ... but I-I was just wondering. What are you holding in your hoof? Was that what made the noise? I've never seen anything like it before. Forgive me for I am not a native here.." Rosalina asked curiously.

Florafilla was surprised upon receiving the news from Zecora, which she couldn't quite comprehend fully at first — that she was of need to Twilight on such adventurous mission She knew the friendly Zebra quite well but she wasn't too familiar with Princess Twilight Sparkle. But from what little Florafilla can recall, Twilight and her 5 other notable friends have been on countless missions together and have saved Ponyville from all sorts of threats during these past few years. She found their stories admirable and she was quite excited and curious to get to know them personally, especially the element of magic herself. Florafilla quickly left the Everfree Forest and galloped through Ponyville straight ahead. She stopped briefly a few times to ask some of the residents about the direction to the train station, before continuing her way through the town. It took a good 15-20 minutes but eventually the train station came into few and Florafilla's excitement grew. Oh I wonder what Princess Twilight Sparkle needs of me! Whatever it is, I don't want to let her down ... hopefully she'll be patient with me. I've never done anything quite like this before. Oh my Celestia, I can't believe that I am going to meet a real alicorn! And not just any alicorn but the very element of magic herself!! Flora's thoughts were racing at a million miles per hour as she was getting closer to the train station. She then became immensely happy as she arrived at the station to see the purple pony in the near distance. Her pace slowed and she took a deep breath, not knowing what to expect exactly. She greeted Twilight with a big smile before speaking. "H-Hello Princess Twi-Twilight Sparkle. It is a great honor to finally meet you. Excuse my hesitation, it's just that I've never been called to an opportunity like this before. Whatever you need, I'll do my best to be of service. Oh ... darn ... Sorry, I forgot to bow down." The nervous mare then slowly takes a bow.

How does one prepare themselves for a test, without having studied, on just the day before?

I guess I'm doomed for the college placement test that I have to take tomorrow. I regretfully didn't study much at all during this vacation. The only section I'm worried about is the math. There is no way I can prepare myself with enough by then. *sighs*

I think it was called the parenthesis function or something, not sure about the name.... But we're going back over it in a college-ready math class so...
