I suppose people have just lost their literacy, language arts simply aren't as admired anymore. Sad, really.

Role playing has always had to fight the nesting of all the perverted fangirls and attention whores. Constant blatant fantasy of being the cool girl(normally having guys fighting over her as the main plot, spamming of the never ending vampire vs werewolf cliche-which is ok but tend to draw in bad RP'ers-and the twilight or twilight-esque romance fantasy of that manner has forced us all into a war attrition. And the decent RP'ers/story teller don't have the numbers.

I usted to be able to simply sit down and write paragraph after paragraph of writing somply for the sake of entertainment, but all the para roleplays seem to have been replaced by one-liners. People simply don't grasp the concept of quality story plot-line anymore. I've never had an issue with vampire-werewolf roleplays before, but they seem to have gone stale.
