I actually learned only last night how to use the Tools so now I have to figure out how to use them effectively.

But wouldn't a rifle be better off for upgrading with? It's range is far longer to start with than a handgun, even though you can upgrade that with the Tools, so it would be more effective that way.

No, trust me, Pistols. They shoot fast, you always have ammo for them, and they are the most versatile weapons in the game. My Pistol had around 500 damage, 42 bullet magazine, it could reach nearly the entire screen, I think it had rapid fire on it too so the 2 bullets it shot per action went extremely fast. With an assault rifle in a long battle you may be at a disadvantage to reload. I dunno' though, it's your call.

Hmm, that does sound pretty good. Guess I'll have to work for that on a NG+

Also, I would hate to have to restart just to get good weapons for Eve. ;-;
