The occasional misspelling/grammar mistake is forgivable. It only becomes a problem when it is habitual.

Oh, and on the texting note: No mercy. It is no trouble for me to use correct spelling and grammar while texting, so it can't possibly be that difficult for you. Yes, I know this is a fallacy, but I don't care.

 

"Milk, eggs, and flour." Okay, this is more of a personal pet peeve, because that's supposedly the expected form in the States, but it looks bloody weird to this colonial! "Milk, eggs and flour" is the form I expect -- no comma before the conjunction.

To my understanding, both are correct. Anyway, I would rather have an overuse of commas than an underuse.

Example:

Well, I was gone for a while as the app wouldn't load (it would just crash right before the loading screen). After the new update, I got 40 chests and 210 hearts, for a total of 250. I feel so good right now. Thank you guys (and gals).

Honestly, this is one of the only things that annoys me. Twilicorn just sounds horrible. I prefer Alicorn Twlilight or Princess Twilight. And yes, I feel very strongly about this.

now onto the unskippable quest to buy the town hall, why gameloft, why?

I'm in the same boat. I have 27 gems...and I need 600. This should be fun...

 

Also, has anyone been having trouble with the game and internet connection? Many times it has said that I don't have a connection, so I can't do the social. But when I check, my connection is fine.

I don't know if this has been mentioned recently as I haven't looked though this thread, but why is Twilight still flightless?  Is this going to be fixed soon, ever?

You have to take into context the time this is taking place. This is during Nightmare Moon's reign and directly after. So maybe eventually they might make Twilight an alicorn, but I don't see it happening any time soon.

Okay guys, I figured it out, my GL is shoboni just like my username here. I think I have it all ready yo go to add people and whatever. 

Guys, who's the stupidly overpriced Rarity recolor named "Farsythia"? What's up with here that I'm unaware of? She seems important judging from that 28K price tag. 

It doesn't necessarily mean that she is important. Lucky was 77k, and that was just for St. Patrick's Day. And later on in the game, that's not really that much money.

I do believe Derpy moves when you close/re-open the game or after a certain time period in a single spot, so its not too much of a problem.

Yes, I know that she moves around when she is off screen long enough, but I just go OCD and start staring at her and trying to tap her, hoping that it will work.

Anyone else have this problem all the time?

It would be nice of Gameloft to stop this from happening, but I doubt it's going to happen.

Maybe it's just me ( in fact I'm sure it) but I can never get a good score on the the ball bouncing mini game. Some times I do good around 252 but other times i get like 85. And thats not with dropping the ball. I don't know what I do to get the high points, they seemingly happen. Is there a trick to it? Am I suppose wait for a certain hight or distence before hitting it back. Am I suppose to touch the screen a certain way when tapping it back? What do I do?

My average is 344, but the best I've gotten is 370. The key is to wait until the ring around the ball is a little under a centimeter away from the ball, and swipe, not tap, the ball back. At least that's what I do, and it seems to work pretty well.

 

Edit: I'm on an iPad, so the distance might be different for you, depending on what you are on.

Frack yeah! All Element Stones activated! Now I just have to get a crap-load of gems to finish the quests! Have to buy the Quills and Sofas shop. 100 gems. Un-skippable. Yay me. Not as bad as Soarin' though...

In the game, the bits and gems and the progress that you make through the game, Does it get saved to your device or your game loft account? Also I'm at the point where I'm suppose to play the apple catching game with Pinkie Pie, but I can't find the icon to activate the mini game. Oh, and I need friends on the game.

Everything is saved in the app. Because of this, if you ever delete the app, you lose everything. Happened to me once...had to start all over.

Love the art. Better than I can do. Just wondering, how long did it take you, and what program did you use? Just curious.

You can time travel too.  In Settings, turn off "auto-update" for Time.  Then adjust time forward how many hours you need.  You WILL have to ignore the parasprites because doing this they come in swarms.  I had to "pave paradise... put up a parking lot" by covering every inch with paths and trees.  My ponyland looks awful now.  I may have to go back.  But in time travelling, I did manage to save over 500,000 bits in about 30 minutes..

Yes, but I am trying to see if I can beat the game legitly, and how long it will take. It's something that I just feel the urge to do.

I haven't heard that yet, but I have heard that he might come back from fellow bronies. Though they usually cite his whole horn flying off the screen as foreshadowing.

I can't add friends from GL to the game. Can anyone help me? I'm so confused. It's telling me 'you have no gameloft friends' when I try to invite from that list.

You have to have the GL Live app. Then add people there, and sync it with the MLP app. And it doesn't work all the time...so, yeah create a Gameloft Live account on the Gameloft Live app, then login to it through the MLP app.

Today several times when I've picked up my iPhone I have had an alert from Ponyville waiting on me that says something like 'Something amazing is coming to Ponyville', or 'Big things are about to be happening.' Has anyone else noticed this? My sister is getting them too.

Yes, I saw that message, though I have only received one. Like many people, I have no idea what it means. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

First off, stating your opinion does not make you a douche. If anything, the others who attacked you for your opinion are.

 

That being said, I do at least partially agree with you. America has gotten herself into many a thing she had no business in, but what's past is past. Like what you said about the killing of Native Americans. That's just wrong. A military should be used for defense and retaliation for acts of war brought upon by foreign nations.

Though I disagree with you about soldiers not protecting our rights. They do. We need a military to protect our country, and by extension, the rights that come with that country.

 

Now, I probably have a biased opinion, as I am going to join the Marines, but I join not for love of war, but instead for the ideals that America says she stands for. The protection people, not the mindless killing of them. The equality of all people.

 

Besides, article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice states that you have to obey any lawful order, emphasis on lawful. I think ethical should be added to that. I know at least one country has that, but I can't remember which one right off of the top of my head. Russia, maybe. I plan on using this to its fullest extent.

Patience. Lots and lots of patience. Use the free gem offer whenever you can (if you can, that is), play every day, and look for Derpy. Constantly.

The only Shops I know that provides that Magic Shards were Hospital and Town Hall, but Another Way to get Magic Shards is to Play Flim and Flam's Balloon Pop.

Actually, I have obtained a substantial number of magic shards from the mill. May be strange, but it's true. It's usually only one, and it is rather rare, but there nonetheless.

Do the ponies effect what you get from the shops? How long did it take you to get all the shards and how many does magic take to unlock?

I don't think it matters what pony is where, but I could be wrong.

 

I've been playing this game for a little under four months now. Dayum...

 

Anyway, it takes 150 shards to unlock the magic stone.

125 Loyalty shards!!?? That is freakin' ridiculous! It is going to take me soo long to get that many. Anypony know an easy way to get that many in a short amount of time without time traveling? Please help me 

Patience. Lots of patience. I have all stones unlocked except magic, which I am 25 shards away from. Play the free game whenever you can, and ignore parasprites. Also, get as many higher shops as you can.

Turn on Airplane mode! Ponies like Soarin are buy able with bits, not gems.

Tried that multiple times. Didn't work on any of them. I've tried opening the app, then turning on airplane mode, and I've tried turning on airplane mode, then opening the app. Neither have worked.

This was the first short story like piece I have written since sixth grade. I know there are a lot of problems with it.

Also... the day I was referencing hasnt really happened yet. It is something I am looking forward to because it will happen. Everything else was true though.

That merely shows how mature you are as a writer. Being able to use real people in rather realistic events is a gift that I certainly do not have.

 

Heck, it was realistic enough that I believed it, and that is very important in writing, as it allows the reader to read something, compare it with events they have seen/experienced, and, if that causes no problems, consequently get lost in the story.
