    Sometimes I end up staring deeply into the fabric of carpet or the wood of a pencil, and just marvel at the complexity of it. How finely detailed the entire world is is, honestly, absolutely insane.

    Really, there's little we CAN do, but it's news. Individuals selling children is not the same as a government actively targeting civilians. Now, if Syria was caught prostituting young children, would that not be huge news?

    Because when an army is targeting civilians, it's different. The government in charge is being shown as irresponsible and dangerous. That's why this is a big deal. When children die from natural causes it's sad, but there is not a person engineering their deaths.

    The best is probably that I usually try to know, understand, educate myself on or do something or someone before I judge it. I also don't like holding grudges, though people who are annoying or rude consistently I tend to ignore. My worst is I overestimate myself too much, to the point I even disappoint me. I'm a bit of a supremist so to speak. And when you're not nearly as good as your mind says and wants you to be, it's quite depressing. And yeah, I'm also not content with much. A lot of things bore me lately; it takes a lot to stimulate myself, which is horrible. I feel dead inside almost sometimes. And to add for worst, I panic a lot in real life and so I joke around to ease myself, and everyone thinks I'm an annoying prick who can't take anything seriously.

    And there you instantly became a jerk. Anyway, this conversation is headed nowhere fast. Lighten up a bit and enjoy life. I love silly, shallow ship fics as much as a good deep story any day.

    ....Now that's not what I said. I meant a part that could be enjoyable. I don't need to read it, I enjoy reading it. I enjoy seeing characters of a show I love put in different situations. That's what is fun. The author doesn't need to spend a bunch of chapters building up who the characters are because we know them. And we know them so well they can be put in a scenario, and it's entertaining. And no, they are not. They SERIOUSLY are not, please learn the lingo. People CAN clop to ship fics, but shipping is not made for fapping. You're not supposed to read this fics to fap, but for enjoyment, like any story about dating.. Clopfics are made JUST for fapping.

    Oh boo hoo. Fanfics are never for profit and thus will never be the highest quality. But of course, because you've READ quality work, you KNOW quality work. I have high standards for that stuff too, but I also prefer to not ruin a huge part of fandoms by letting it get to me. I have in fact read many quality fanfics and enjoyed them too, and a good fan work will very easily inspire me. Also, ship fics are not clop fics.

    IF we're going by stereotypes... Applejack would vote for Romney due to his support for business and family values. Fluttershy would vote for Obama because of the EPA. Pinkie Pie would most likely vote Obama....no way to explain really, Romney as you said would be "boring". Rainbow Dash would probably, ignoring the lesbian rumor stuff, be very socially liberal and vote for Obama. She doesn't seem like a conservative at all. Twilight would vote Obama too, for the same reason you said. She comes off as a serious college kid and yeah, Obama supports free, public education. Also Rarity would not want her business taxed, I could say that much. Too tired to go into any actual detail. Plus the two above said it much better than I.

    I was at cedar point yesterday, and was wearing my Fluttershy shirt. I saw four bronies, and two possible bronies or maybe just people who knew about the show. In fact, I saw two in a row. The first one I met I was walking down towards this restaurant and he was like, "I love your shirt!". Later, made eye contact with a girl who had a Rainbow Dash shirt and we both laughed. And then while leaving I came across a girl who yelled, "I love your shirt!" and a guy wearing the same shirt I was. o3o EDIT: As for the two I mentioned earlier, there were two red-haired brothers standing in line, at least I think they were brothers, and they saw my shirt and cracked up saying, "Fluttershy? Oh wow."

    I saw a Dashie/Vinyl ship that was really, really good. In fact, VinylDash has become my favorite ship, even though there is absolutely none of it out there. Hm.
