  1. Wow. Over a month and no one signed up. I feel really bad for you, it seems really well planned out too. I'd love to join, though I'm not sure which OC to use yet. I'll probably go with Goldseek. Hope that some more people sign up :3
  2. Colouring takes a long time. ;-; Oh god I just saw that they don't have tails send help.
  3. Isn't the future Twilight at the start of the episode the same Twilight that goes back in time to warn her not to worry? As far as I know, Twilight is visited by Twilight, who attempts to tell Twilight not to worry, but doesn't get to do so, causing Twilight to worry and then, at the end of the week, go back in time to tell Twilight not to worry, not being able to etc. It's the same Twilight over and over in a loop. Twilight doesn't realize that the Twilight who made her worry was her when she went back in time, and she repeated the same mistake.
  4. First of all, hey guys! I'm back! Second of all, how the hell do I draw a pony?
  5. @@Illiad Easle, "You're right. I'm going to check on everyone else. Remind me if I forgot anything." Goldseek sat up and trotted out of the room. Perhaps this crew actually had some potential. It was hard to say at this point in time. The answer would be more clear after this first job. @@clockwork24, @, "Right. You two." Goldseek gestured to Clockwork and Nightlight, who didn't seem to be doing anything important. "I need you to go get about a days worth of food. A bit more, in case something goes wrong. And don't forget citrus. I don't plan on getting scurvy." He waited for Nightlight to get going, before turning to Clockwork. "And I'll need you to head down to the gun deck and make sure everything is in order. Gunpowder and all that." @@Yoshi89, "And you just get some rest. Early start tomorrow, and I have a feeling that something might happen. I need you ready to fix whatever damage may come to Avarice."
  6. @@Illiad Easle, "I'd say about 14 knots on average. You're right though, the travel to Neighpon will be difficult. The closest port would be at Ib'Xian, where we can restock, but we're still going to need quite a few supplies." Goldseek was very suddenly glad that he'd found Illiad as a first mate, which was very different from just a few minutes ago. In the past, his pirate escapades usually were without planning and often ended in casualties. Now, he was almost certain that he would succeed, or, at the very least, his men would live. "The cargo ship leaves port tomorrow at 0600 hours. It's due here at about 1100 hours. We want to intercept it before it gets to close to land. Say, about 0930 hours."
  7. @@Illiad Easle, Goldseek nodded, happy with the reply he recieved. "Right. So, I heard that there was a cargo ship headed to Canterbury from Hoofington. Nothing especially interesting. Just some salt and spices, but a good first job. If we intersect it here..." Goldseek placed his hoof down on a location in the Bridle Shores between the two locations. "We should be able to board and take what we need. Then we sail all the way down to Neighpon, where I have some contacts who would gladly take our cargo off of our hands and provide us with some cash for it." He looked up at the tan pony, waiting for a response.
  8. @@Illiad Easle, Goldseek led the orange pony into the cabin, where there were some chairs and a table. He gestured for him to take a seat, and sat down on the chair opposite. "Right then. Let's get right down the point. As my first mate, you'll be my side at all times, ready to take action in case anything happens to me. Thus, I need to know if I can trust you. You appear to be honest, but looks can be deceiving, and with you so close to me, you could very easily kill me, then take control. So I need you to tell me. Why should I trust you?" The blue coated stallion stared down the unicorn, awaiting an answer.
  9. ~-~[Pillage!]~-~ Today begins a tale of pirates. Ponies who are willing to leave behind their previous lives to pursue a life of sea faring and plundering. For a pirate has a very simple goal, one that is perhaps not so different to that of an normal pony's. To become rich. To steal money, gold and riches. That is what it is to be a pirate. =============================================================================================================================== @, @@Illiad Easle, @@Yoshi89, @@clockwork24, Goldseek looked down on his new crew with distaste. It was hard to assemble a crew, and he was honestly quite disappointed in the results. Perhaps they would prove themselves better than they seemed, but at first glance, they didn't seem like the job would suit them. He had managed to memorise their names, though he wasn't sure how much good that would do. His First Mate, which he was most worried about, seeing as how close a First Mate would have to be, was Illiad Easle. The Gunner, who could very easily betray him, seemed at least to know what he was doing. His name was Clockwork, and he apparently knew his fair share about weaponry. The Carpenter's name was Thrillseeker, who Goldseek hadn't a clue about his skill with repairs. He could only hope he knew how to use a hammer. And finally, was the chef, Nightlight Sparkle. Goldseek had at first mistook him for a mare, due to his femininity. He appeared to be somewhat high class, which would make the pirate life very difficult for him. "Right then. I'll hope you all know how a ship works and where everything is, because I really don't want to have to explain it to you. Illiad, could I please speak with you privately in the cabin?"
  10. Happy New Year guys!

Happy new year =)=) *hugs* =)=)

  11. You should definitely check out Angel Beats. It's a short anime, but still great. Also, like said above, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. You don't have to worry about watching the original, because they're basically just alternative story lines to each other, Brotherhood following the manga more whereas the original was in the making before the manga was finished. But yeah. FMAB is probably my favourite anime.
  12. Goldseek watched as a pillar of fire erupted in the distance around where the base was. Smoke rose from the tunnel and Goldseek assumed Scurry to be dead or captured. It was a depressing thought, but was the most likely outcome. He started heading away from the smoke, deciding that the more distance between him and the pirates, the better. Eventually he stopped walking, tired, and dropped to the ground, under a tree. It wasn't fair. Goldseek had done nothing to deserve this, and as far as he knew, neither has Scurry. He took a moment to remember the diamond dog, before closing his eyes, tired and alone.
  13. @@Alex Kennedy, "I'd love to help the others, but we don't have the resources right now. If I run into someone, I'll bring them over, but we aren't in any position to pull off any rescue missions." Goldseek looked down the hole, and was impressed with the progress made. "Right. I'll work on getting rope then." Goldseek walked off, wondering how to make rope and how he would even climb a rope with hooves.
  14. @@Alex Kennedy, Goldseek nodded and left the hole again, looking for water. He wandered for a while, keeping note of where he came from so he could get back the same way. He looked over a rock, and quickly ducked down, realizing where he was. He had doubled around to where the pirates were. He almost turned back, but noticed a pirate walking around with a bucket water. A perfect opportunity like this was to good to waste. He threw a rock at the pirate, hitting him right in one of his hind legs. He placed down the water and looked around, confused. He walked towards where Goldseek was, and Goldseek snuck behind him, running to the bucket and running off again, trying to keep quiet and not to lose any water. Somehow, he managed without being seen, but lost quite a bit of water in the process. He headed back to base, deciding not to do anything so risky anymore, at least for a while.
  15. @@Alex Kennedy, Goldseek came back to find a well sized hole, about three metres deep. He was amazed that Scurry was able to dig so much so fast, without any tools or anything. It really was quite extraordinary. He placed the weave outside the hole. "Hey. I got most of what we need. Couldn't find water though. You got any ideas on how?"
  16. @@Alex Kennedy, Goldseek brought his hoof up to cover his face from the dirt being flung everywhere, then walked away, searching for food, water and a disguise for their tunnel. He started by searching the trees for fruit, and found a few apples, but not enough to last very long. He didn't even know if Diamond Dogs ate apples. Still, for now it would be fine. He was completely lost on how to get water. He had heard that water can sometimes be found underground, and decided that he would ask Scurry about it later. So now, he decided to focus on a disguise. A simple weave of sticks and leaves would probably work. Goldseek got to work, collecting from the trees.
  17. @@Alex Kennedy, Goldseek ignored the somewhat offensive comment and nodded his head, continuing to walk. Goldseek stayed quiet for a while, keeping an eye out for necessary items. Eventually, they found an area that was somewhat open, and hidden away well enough. "Will this do?"
  18. @@Alex Kennedy, "Sounds good. We might want to move inland first though. If the tide picks up, the tunnel might get flooded." Goldseek looked back where he had just ran. They'd managed to escape from the pirates unseen, but he couldn't help feeling he wasn't safe yet. Maybe it was just because of his past experiences, but he didn't trust the island at all. "Also keep a look out for food and water. I would really hate to starve out here."
  19. @@Alex Kennedy, Goldseek snapped back into his senses. "Yeah. I'm fine. Anyway, yeah. We're going to need to hide somewhere, because I highly doubt it will be easy to find a boat and I doubt you can dig all the way to land, not to mention we don't know where land is." He looked from left to right, trying to make sure no one saw them. He noticed a blindspot, along the coast of the island, where no pirates appeared to be looking. "On three, we run that way, okay? One. Two. Three!"
  20. @@Alex Kennedy, "I have no idea. Try fiddling with it a bit until something happens. I'll keep look out." Goldseek decided that an escape route would be important, and chose to start mapping one out in his head. They were on an island, so they couldn't just run home, they would have to survive for a while. He looked at the island closer, sure that it reminded him of somewhere. Then he remembered. The island was similar to the one he had lost his father on. The one which changed his life for the worst. He tried not to show it, but he was scared. Horrified of what was his worst memory.
  21. @@Alex Kennedy, "I've got nothing. Let me have a look at that lock." He checked without waiting for a response. It seemed to be pretty simple, and somewhat easy to unlock. Unfortunately, Goldseek didn't have anything to pick it with. "You completely sure you can't get it with your claw?"
  22. @@Alex Kennedy, Goldseek was glad to be free of the rope, but made sure to stick to his part of the offer. He quickly untied to rope, with little difficulty. It would seem that they hadn't planned for escapees. With the ropes both untied, Goldseek decided to take the time to examine the cage he was in. "You got any ideas?"
  23. @@Alex Kennedy, "Okay. Sounds good. Just try to act inconspicuous whilst doing so. Don't want to attract attention to ourselves." Goldseek looked around, trying to see if any eyes were on them. As far as he knew, there was no pony looking at them. He was also looking out for his weapon, hoping that he could find it as some way to protect himself from the obviously hostile pirates. "Right. Try cut me out, then I'll untie you. We can think of a plan after that."
