  1. There are only two things that make me mad. Discrimination, and Germans. Alright, being serious now. It's arrogance and idiocy that seems to bring out the worst of me. I can deal with stuff like terrible music and all that crap, but if someone's being an asshole then I get really pissed.
  2. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Never the less, sounds like a fun idea. Here's my personal OC Star Keeper: http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/star-keeper-r1819 (Cutie Mark and character vector found bellow)
  3. Had a break up recently. Better go write a few dozen songs about it like Taylor Swift does.

  4. Oh god, this takes me back. My friends harassed me into watching the show and I got hooked. Who knew peer pressure could be a beneficial thing?
  5. Twilight Sparkle. She has it out for every mailmare in Ponyville, shutting them out in the cold like that. How can one pony be so evil and yet so likeable?
  6. So much has happened in the last few months, I really don't know where to start. I guess the good news is that I'm not dying anytime soon (I am so dramatic), my surgery went off without a hitch a few weeks ago. I guess I'm doing okay, no more heart problems for a while and all is well. I certainly have allot of lost time to make up for now.

  7. Due to ongoing heart problems (medical, not metaphorical) I haven't been active on the site for a good while. Sorry to those guys RP'ing with me, I'm trying my best to post from hospital right now. I screwed up a bit, I know.

It's nothing to apologize for. Nobody can fault you for being ill. Just focus on doing whatever is necessary to get better. I hope things turn around soon.

  8. @@Pripyat Pony, Murray actually hadn't thought of that, he used it more as an excuse to take his leave. There were plenty of places to eat here, but he couldn't just take her to some fast food joint, although they were in abundance. "You'll find out soon." Alright, he had to think quickly, where could he take a girl that wouldn't come across as cheap or tacky. This was almost beginning to sound like a real date.
  9. Murray clicked back into action. Right now he wanted nothing more than a chance to simply get away for a while, a small break. "Fantastic idea Cicada, I think I know just the place." He stood up, leading her with his hand and said his quick goodbyes to the others. "Thank you Mrs Queen and friend. We'll be back in time for the evening you've got planned." Now he could breathe again. (OCC: So long and thanks for all the fish. Yes my character has slightly panicked and will meet you guys later on.)
  10. Star Keeper bolted up straight when he heard the disturbance outside. At first he assumed it was simply the other crew members being rowdy but as far as he knew it was uncommon for them to begin hacking each other up. Pocking his head out of the front of his tent he was greeted to the sight of a number of giant centipede insects crawling along after Ocean, and proceeding to get hacked up by Steel. One so happened to pass by Star's tent, giving the curious stallion a good look at it. "You are beautiful. I've never seen anything like you before. Oh this alone could guarantee me some kind of award back in Canterlot." The insect scampered off further down into the camp and out of Star's line of sight. What's the worst it could do anyway, they aren't even able to attack anything of a ponies size, let alone eat them. It seemed that Steel was taking this opportunity to let off some steam, and no doubt would return bragging about the importance of weaponry. Ignorance is truly bliss.
  11. Murray reached back into his jacket pocket, pulling out his old mobile phone. "Well there's this. We can keep in contact by calling each other if we need to. But... what was that about being able to communicate through what? You know what, never mind. Let's just get going soon. There'll be time for questions later."
  12. @@Pripyat Pony, "Let you stay?" By that he assumed that meant they would be staying here for a while, and that also meant that they couldn't get home yet. Sometime he really had to ask how the hell they got there in the first place. "C-cool, yeah that's cool. So where should we go then? Although I don't really know this city that well, haven't exactly been here that long." Or plan to be.
  13. @@Meteorite, @@Pripyat Pony, @, "Sing...?" It all felt like stalling, as if they knew they had to go but refused to let the time itself come. He didn't want them to leave so soon but this would tear him apart when the time came. There was still so much he had to learn. Maybe now was the chance, maybe he should just enjoy it as it comes. "Okay fine, I agree... but only if Cicada's going with us."
  14. Star Keeper was left in a rather odd mood. Steel had given up his weapons in reluctance, only Ocean's council convincing him to part with them. Although Star had seen far better reason in his opinion Steel was far too stubborn. Ocean on the other hoof... she was certainly something different, something he hadn't come across before He almost found her fascinating, but decided to think nothing more of it. It was getting far to late for that kind of mumbo jumbo. If he was to keep his head up tomorrow he needed his sleep...
  15. @, @@Pripyat Pony, It was a bitter sweet reunion. Even if it was inevitable, Murray didn't really want it to come. About now he figured he would be thanked, given a pat on the head, and then forced to say goodbye. He hated goodbyes, always so awkward and you never say what you mean to. Maybe he was over thinking it, but he figured he'd likely never see her again. Yeah, it had been just one night. They barley new each other by many standards. But she was fascinating, she shouldn't even exist and yet her she is sitting next to him. Even if he had to say goodbye he certainly wouldn't forget.
  16. His jaw fell dumbfounded, struggling to actually get a proper sentence out. She was... cool? Did that work in this context, or was he just avoiding the obvious? I wont say it, I wont... Fine, she's attractive! I said it! Can we move on?! "S- so... coffee?" Murray didn't exactly know why, but simply going out and having a coffee seemed to help clear his mind. Now was probably a good time for that. He and Cicada both sat around in the little cafe, not really talking to each other as usual. A conversation between those two often resulted with a few quick questions followed by vague answers, Murray occasionally glancing up at her when he thought she wasn't looking, then getting caught and pretending to look in a completely different direction altogether.
  17. @@Steel Accord, "Is that how you want the Atlanteans to think of us, just another band of sword bearing thugs? For an optimist you seem to have very little understanding of what you're walking into. I understand you think this will protect us but it'll cause more harm than good. What good do you think those swords will have? A small band of untrained explorers against an entire city, I do not like our chances. The weapons stay, otherwise I will instead."
  18. @@Steel Accord, "By keeping them on you she's in far more danger than if you were unarmed. We are not an invasion force, we are not here to fight and we are certainly not here to make enemies." Star Keeper gave his best attempt at a harsh glare, but wasn't exactly an expert at it quite yet. "I'm not asking you to part with a heirloom, I'm asking you to leave it until we know what it is we're dealing with. I'm just trying to be logical."
  19. A glasses contents is determined by whether it had gained or lost from it's original value. For instance if it started out with a full glace but lost half of its contents then it would be half empty, however if we were to fill an empty cup to half way then it would be half full. So an optimist can only say they are optimistic because they know what it's like to truly hit rock bottom while anypony else would see it as a misfortune. Oh the things that went on in his head could fill a few books indeed. "Whatever the case we can't go galloping in like it's no ponies business. Subtlety is the key for this, that means no weapons, no large groups and no sudden or unexpected actions. Until we know the exact situation then it isn't wise to push the boundaries."
  20. @@Pripyat Pony, "I guess so." The pair entered the mall ans instantly set about first finding a place to purchase some new clothes to replace rather tattered appearance. Although it would have been simple just to change into someone else it did take more energy that expected. This was probably a bit easier, considering there was little need to try and blend in. After a small amount of wandering they found the store they'd been looking for, Murray inviting her in to try on some clothes. "Well, go crazy. But not too crazy, I can only afford so much."
  21. @, @@Steel Accord, "If there was an event for self-doubt then there is no doubt that I'd take the gold. Actually there might be." Star Keeper glanced away in no particular direction, simply letting his mind wander off in new directions. Often this gave him a new sense of depth to the conversation, broadening his narrow thinking. "Something tells me that after over a thousand years they wont exactly welcome us with open hooves. They might not be as accepting to other cultures after so long in complete isolation."
  22. @, "Well... somewhere during Equestrian Dark Ages, lasting from the 1300 to 990 BC is when many suspect Atlantis to have disappeared from record, although the cause is unknown. At the beginning of the Age of Renewal the City had was all but forgotten, save deep with the Achieves held within the Unicorn settlements. During the Dark Ages, Force Commander Supreme Hurricane made an account of a clan that refused to cooperate with Pegasi order, nor any of the other tribes demands. "They were factionless, drifting along the coastline without so much as a known area of settlement. And yet they continue to advance, grow and watch us." After that they seem to simply vanish, gone from the world. There's so many gaps in our history, the Crystal Empire, the rise of Celestia, and yet we still have no way of know for sure." "This is what happens when you let me ramble."
  23. @@Pripyat Pony, "Just around the corner here." Murray and Cicada arrived at the mall after a good hours walk in the brisk morning air, and it was rather freezing in his opinion. "Let's head inside, get a drink, get some clothes and meet this queen. I never in my life thought I would say anything like that."
  24. @@Steel Accord, Star Keeper shook his head at his words. "Nothing, I meant nothing by it. Just forget it for now, I spoke out of place." He looked back down at the ground, hammering himself for his poor choice of words. "There's things they don't really tell you in school, or even in many history books. What really happened on that night over 2000 years ago? In the end all we have is stories... and rumors. There I go again, rambling on a bout history. Warn me next time so I don't get too carried away with it all."
