    No, that's what would have happened had I tried to do it. What you did was to make it truly amazing. Thank you so much, Skybound. This is perfect.

    Oh, it's still wonderful. As for the pupils, while I originally envisioned them slitted, I quite like the rounded style. In fact, it might be time for a character update... Anyways, that looks wonderful.

    Oh, no, no, this is wonderful. From what I can see of it, it looks perfect. If you want to try a different scene, of course, it's your call, but I really like this one.

    Ajax yelped, diving behind the Riolu and allowing him to take the brunt of the attacks. Once they had finished, he lept out from behind them, delivering a fireball to the face of the closest beedrill and violently clawing at the next one. "Get the other!"

    (Sorry if I'm godmodding a little, but we need to get the group moving.) Addem nodded, trotting out of the room with the rest of the group. He looked out over the horizon, pointing. "That's the way to the village. Then again, if the attackers are still there, we wouldn't want to take the main road..."

    A pattering of clawed feet could be heard in the hallway. The bug's retreat was cut off by a roaring fireball as Ajax vaulted over Rockzy's head, using the pokemon as a trampoline. He slashed downards with his beak, flames streaming around him as he barreled towards the pokemon. "I gotcha, Riolu!"

    (Where did everypony go?) Ajax glanced around, chuckling. "Looks like the Wurmple spread the word that there's a Fire-type here." He grinned, trotting forwards and tugging the rest of his group with him. "C'mon! I'm not losing to an Oddish." He paused briefly as he saw the light flicker, then blinked hard and grumbled, "Eye playin' tricks on me..."

    Ajax looked around the room, relaxing slightly as he saw that they were alone. "Yo, Rockzy, wanna check for wild pokemon?" he said, trotting to the mouth of one of the corridors and peering into it. He made sure to steer clear of the pond, hugging the edges of the room.

    Addem rubbed the back of his head, chuckling. "It's all about misdirection, as I'm sure you know. I just do it with a more... physical substance. Disguise only gets you so far, you know." He paused, then said, "Speaking of which, Civil, would it be possible to bend rays of light via magic?"

    Ajax paused, looking over at the helpless bug Pokemon. He glanced back at the Eevee, then sent a quick spurt of flame towards the weakened enemy. Turning away from it, he assumed a leisurely walk towards the staircase, the crackling flame music to his ears.

    Ajax shuddered under the barrage of bullets. He scampered backwards, dodging from side to side as he approached his bound teammates. With a few slashes of his claws, he began to tear the webbing away. "Ah! Ow! Dammit, Prism, help me!" He flinched as a seed struck his beak, a series of swear words pouring from him as he continued to work.

    Ajax went flying into the wall, bouncing off and rolling. He scrabbled to his feet, glancing around the room as the Zorua was webbed. He shot a quick fireball towards the huddled Wurmple, then turned to face the Nincada. He scrapes his talon along the ground like a bull preparing to charge, then raced towards it, beak slashing down for a peck.

    Ajax turned, blasting the pokemon attacking his tea with another withering ball of flame. He turned back, not bothering to see what he'd hit, then winced as a Silver Wind nearly smacked him in the beak. He jumped at the Nincada, pecking at it in an attempt to aid Prism.

    "Addem Up, resident magical engineer. I'm glad you'll be working with us; like Civil says, we need all the help we can get. And it's always good to get some more magical support. No offense, Civil, but we're facing an alicorn. Your power's not going to be enough, and I might be busy with other things."

    Words cannot describe the noise of glee that I made looking at these. They're exactly how I pictured Addem, crazy-face and all. (And quite frankly, he gives Pinkie a run for her money.) Any changes you wish to make are fine by me, but you hit the nail on the head so far, especially the middle one.

    Addem smiled, nodding. "Reinforcements. Excellent." He looked over the pony before adding, "We were just about to head out, actually. There's been an attack on a village nearby; we think it's the work of Nightmare's agents. We were headed to take them out, then apprehend both Nightmare Moon and another rogue Alicorn."
