Actually, I remember Homer's mother dying in one episode, only to reappear in his dreams in another as her death is referenced.  Likewise, Maude Flanders died, and we have Sideshow Bob constantly exacting revenge on Bart and Krusty.  I don't if it follows an exact story-arc, but the newer episodes do reference the older ones at times.  Does that mean The Simpsons is a part of an ongoing story-arc?

If you think about it in a real world way, from the point of view of Hasbro, there was the whole reason for the 13 episode layout...

The show has reached the 65 episode format. That means it's easy to sell the rights to air it, which is probably what DHX media and Hasbro wanted. So why not have the season 3 finale be something akin to the final finale of any other cartoon. Be big, flashy, and have a massive twist at the end. It aids as a move into a new season, and a good end for any stations that can't afford or don't want to air ponies more than the 65 episodes... Plus, I still think she earned her place. She didn't gain wings because she needed to be more powerful, but because she was ready to become a princess. I believe she earned her wings. She's achieved the first part of her destiny and now has more to learn.

Anyway, how else are you supposed to explore more intricacies of friendship when you've begun to run dry? Simple, change something. Making Twilight a princess will likely lead to greater learning for her. Not to mention new Friendship problems to be fixed. It also opens up an excuse for Twilight. "Off being a Princess"

MLP is one of my defining interests.However, I do like other things. Pokemon and Minecraft for games, and Owl City and Hey Ocean for music. But, MLP is the only fandom I'm really a part of, rather than just someone who enjoys it but doesn't contribute or even talk to the fandom.

Actually, being a fan of Hey Ocean is directly linked with being a fan of MLP. Mainly because the lead singer is the voice of RD and AJ!

Okay, if that' the case, I'd need a new console before I get the games, and I'd want the games if I got a new console. So I'd probably buy the MLP Merch! It's the only way I'd be happy!

Dude... You can buy at least 1 console, and a game, AND some MLP stuff! I'd honestly buy 1 console (probably a Wii U) 1 game and 1 peice of MLP merch! I'd still have money left over!

This is more clever wording than anything. It allows for Sombra's return if the staff so wish it, but they don't need to if they don't want to. Like I said, clever wording to allow for any circumstance where he does, or does not, return!

It's a toss up between my favorite LPers... It really depends on what's been going on! Like, I adore Chuggaaconroy, but I haven't watched him in 2 months. Whilst AttackingTucans and Josh Jepson are hilarious, and Superjeenius is so cute! It's hard to pick between them!

To be honest, I have no friends myself, and even if I love my family, I don't socialize with them often. I turn to friendship-driven franchises like My Little Pony to cope with my loneliness, and just dealing with Twilicorn outliving her friends only serve to make me feel more lonely, and as a result more miserable.

Another good reason to avoid them like the plague... I'm really secure about my friends, and I know if one dies I'm gonna be sad, but I'll go on... I think... I don't really know... I've never been dealt that particular card in life...

I've read a few, and I kind of like them. I don't like MLP because it's a feel good show. I watch it because it genuinly entertains me and makes me think about how I could use the lessons I learn IRL (because, you know, almost all the eps have an aseop)

Which is why I don't mind people writing depressing stories about Twilight. Also, if you don't like them, why are you reading them? You don't have to read them... Or is it the idea of Twilight outliving her friends that you find unappealing, because you don't want to think about outliving the people you love... That I think is totally reasonable...
