Circadian

All I've had today is like six gummy bears and some scotch so I could go for just about anything right now. 

Poor guy. I really hope he makes it and can find a reason to keep on living. I'm sure the people who bullied him will be feeling the wrath of 4chan soon enough if not already.

They're good at stuff like that. 

ITT not sure if joking around or actually schizophrenic

This is kind of a sad and pathetic story, but here goes. 

I used to have an imaginary friend when I was 8 years old because I grew up with just my mom and my older brother. Anyway around this time I only had my imaginary friend to talk to and my fucking older brother would mercilessly pick on me and hit me because of it. He was pretty stupid but so much bigger than me that I couldn't do much to fight back.

So one day things are especially heated between my brother and I. We had this big fight where he chased me around the apartment and broke a bunch of stuff but ended up accidentally knocking himself unconscious. Like, out cold. Looking back it was probably the most hilarious part of my childhood. So my mom comes home shortly afterward and finds all this mess and my brother on the ground. Fortunately he didn't have a concussion but the turd tells my mom that the whole thing was my fault.

Later that night my mom comes into my room and tells me that she knew it wasn't really my fault but that she knows the reason he picks on me so much is because I still had an imaginary friend and that maybe it's time to get rid of him. I tried to argue with her but she said he had to go. I'm really sad and pissed off about all this but later that night while I'm watching TV I get this really good idea.

So after school the next day I end up dropping Bloo off at Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends where he was allowed to stay as long as I kept visiting daily. This went on for several years until I realized (after starting heaviy medication) that Foster's was just an abandoned old house and there was no such thing as imaginary friends.

Hello everybody. It's nice to see people are still looking back at the old topics. I suppose October is almost over and there's still no news on the release date of Season 4. 

For controversies my prediction is that in season 4 there will be an Applejack pregnancy scare that rocks the pony community. 

Calling it now. 

Reason being that time is not a linear thing, it is just one of the many ingredients that is the frothy soup of existence. As such, time is actually irrelevant to the state of things within existence.

If the universe is infinite, certain patterns would emerge. One of those patterns being you. So every time you died you're consciousness would just pick up right at the beginning. We're stuck in an infinite loop.

If you feel awkward around kids your own age, you're trying too hard. That's what it is, plain and simple. Believe it or not, people don't think about you as much as you think they do. 

She does this all the freaking time. And yeah, she does like to do the trophy thing as well.

Tried Mass Effect, couldn't get into it.

Did you try Mass Effect 2? I started at 2 and was blown away. 1 is hard to get into.

Mass Effect comes readily to mind. I have heard nothing but good things about this series (disregarding the ending controversy from awhile back) and I wanted to see what was so great, but I have yet to experience any of this because the first game is so bad I want to chuck my controller against a wall in frustration. Idiotic partner AI, cover that protects you as well as tissue paper, overly long loading times every time I died (which was a lot by the way) and horrible driving sequences are just some of the things that are keeping me from wanting to go back and give this series a chance.

IGNORE MASS EFFECT 1. Start with 2 and work your way on from there. The first Mass Effect can be an ordeal to play through; the story is excellent but the gameplay is pretty meh. Don't let the lame gameplay from the first one ruin your experience.  

Besides making them croak, of course.

The Apples kicked the bucket long ago in my mind. Those poor kids. Applejack has to basically be the mother their real mom couldn't.

Applebloom wasn't born yet, and Applejack didn't know her parents, so who are Applebloom's parents? They couldn't have just came by, dropped Applebloom off, and left.

Good point. I don't think I noticed that she wasn't with the rest of the Apples too see off AJ to Manehatten. Maybe they just left tiny Applebloom inside while they watched AJ leave. 

Well, if the universe is truly infinite then you'd restart your life over again from the beginning. Think about it, in an infinite universe, certain patterns are bound to emerge, one of those patterns being you. As soon as your consciousness ends, the universe will keep going forever until circumstances once again lead to your birth, and you'd "pick up" right from there. You'd have no knowledge that it happened, just as you've had no knowledge of the infinite number of times it has happened in the past.

It's always nice to see a fellow redditor! I posted this to reddit shortly after I posted it here and it got a bigger response over there. Probably because there are more people.

Seriously MLP Forums, I almost went outside today. This hiatus is driving me insane and I know I can't be the only one. How are we supposed to make it to OCTOBER. 

I'd have to say the exact moment we officially ran out of content to post was with this topic. 

Maybe Spike isn't a true dragon? Maybe he is the son of the Dragon King, taken by Celestia in order to keep the peace between the two realms. 

I enjoyed the first season a lot, but after all of the melodrama in the second season that amounted to nothing emotionally impacting I lost interest. I heard the third season is better, but I heard it's all over the top action. Wasn't the point of the show to have a focus on something besides a gorefest?

The reason behind the shift in quality between season 1 and 2 was due to the departure of Frank Darabont and a decreased budget. Season 4 will see Scott Gimple take up the reigns. He's had some great episodes in the past, so I'm pretty optimistic about it.

I didn't find it when I searched for it. Besides, I doubt that person planned on making this data into a really cool graph for people to look at.  

I'm curious about the average age of the forum. If everyone would be so kind as to complete the poll, I'll compile the information into a graph of some kind for all to see. 

I slept in until noon today because I worked all day yesterday and closed at the store. When I finally did wake up I spent most of the day putting off doing dishes and re watching Breaking Bad until work at 5. It was inventory day so we got off early. Now I get to browse the internet until bedtime.
