  1. In Trumps deluded mind, he still believes himself to be the all power overload of mankind, so I just say let him try. He's such an addict to Twitter that his Tweets have actually been categorized as Official White House Documents, so nothing will ever come of it. He's just blustering to try and get re-elected, because as we all know the only thing Trump cares about is himself.

  2. I'm happy that you were able to accept yourself, that takes a lot of courage to do. And I don't judge you one bit, we've all got our weird quirks and stuff that people don't consider "normal", but who are they to say what is and is not normal? "Normal" is subjective, so as long as you're not hurting anyone or doing anything illegal, what you do is perfectly alright as far as concerned.

  3. 11 hours ago, The Recherche said:

Excellent work, my friend! May I ask if you have any plans for any future perler projects?

Thank you! :D Yes, I have far too many plans for future projects in mind, such as the Legendary Shield, Spear, Sword, and Bow, Pac Man, more Pokemon, Luna's cutie Mark to go with Celestia's, the Nintendo handheld line (Gameboy, Colour, Advanced, DS and Switch), and more MegaMan symbols, to name a few.

  4. The rumor about vaccines causing autism has been around for years before this stupid "movement" after multiple children (who may have been born with autism) only started showing signs soon after getting vaccine shots, and overbearing helicopter moms freaked out despite there being no correlation between the two. What really got the ball rolling was when ONE uncertified doctor wrote ONE report claiming that tests he had done proved beyond a doubt that vaccines directly cause autism, despite the countless reports by countless certified doctors saying otherwise.

Later on, that one report was found to be a total crock of shit filled to the brim with falsified information and "tests" that had been purposely tampered with to achieve certain results and mocked by the medical community at large, but by that point the conspiracy nutcases had already picked it up and just saw this is as an attempt to "hide information and keep the populace ignorant" or some bull like that.

Hell, the Simpsons have even gone so far as to parody such nonsense before and after the Anti-Vaxxer movement started gaining steam, which should tell you all you need to know.

  5. And I was actually looking forward to Mighty No. 9 before all the delays, the art shift, the kickstarters on top of kickstarters for other projects, controversies after controversies, ect. By the time this tone-deaf and ludicrously bad trailer was released, even the most hard core of fans had abandoned ship. The fact that it's a legit bad game (or mediocre at best) on top of all that is just the final nail in the coffin.

  6. Everything ends eventually. Well, unless you're the Simpson or Spongebob and look how well that turned out...

I'd prefer the show ended on a high note rather than forced to continue and suffer serious decay. And, considering the impact this show has had, even if it's years before a possible G5, I won't be the only one still riding this train for as long as I can.

  7. I can relate to the feeling of jealousy. I spend forever writing something and then someone writes something they admit was written in less than an hour, yet has hundreds of more views and I' always like "Why isn't mine more popular?!"

Course, I didn't expect my first fic to get more than 100 hits, so the fact that it has 300+ as of now means I've achieved something at least!

  8. I'm pretty sure that shot is from the Everfree Forest arc currently going, and considering the direction that story is headed...I can't argue with you. No one in that issue is morally right and the whole thing is basically one big cliche environmental/idiot plot.

The solo issues are generally pretty good about staying in character (baring a few exceptions) but the main issue long arcs are ever shifting in terms of quality and characterizations.

  9. I've written a script fanfiction before in the style of Rant by Chuck Palahniuk, that being a series of interviews relating to a crime that has occurred. Personally, I think when done well, it can be a very unique experience as compared to a more traditional approach.

Allow me to clarify then. I'm not saying a script format can't be done, but it has to be called for. The Vinyl Scratch Tapes is a prime example, written in the style of a radio recording/transcript. There it's warranted, but just imagine Lord of The Rings the novel written in the same format long before the actual movie.

  10. Spike at Your Service

    1. Spike's inexplicable ineptitude -Despite how capable he's been shown up to this point, suddenly he can't even perform simple tasks without messing it up

    2. No explanation of the "Dragon Code" - It comes completely out of nowhere and only serves as a means to keep the conflict going

    3. CGI Timberwolves - Looks incredibly out of place and jarring in this flash animated environment

    4. Anti-climatic conclusion - Timberwolves fuse together into mega-timberwolf...only to die because Spike tossed a rock down its throat. I believe the trope for this would be "Clipped One Winged Angel".

    5. Twilight's absence for most of the episode - Again, she's kept out of the way just to keep the conflict going. Even when she finally get's involved she's not that big of a help

    6. Drawn out conflict - Like a few episodes, this conflict could have ended easily if someone, Applejack especially, just spat it out and told Spike he was being overbearing and clingy rather than dancing around the issue
