  1. So in today's episode, Rainbow Dash becomes an eco-terrorist and Cindy Morrow makes all of the references. Overall, I thought that the episode it was pretty good. Maybe a bit over-dramatic given the situation, but I couldn't see it fitting any better unless they decided to kill off Tank. Still, I thought it was quite good as far as RD episodes go, especially since we get to see an emotional side of her that seems to fit her character quite well. On another note, this episode has one of the best renditions of Abbot and Costello's "Who's on First?" skit I've seen to date. That may have been my favorite part of the episode.
  2. Just got back from yet another awesome Distant Worlds concert! XD

  3. One day we'll make progress on this project at work. It wasn't today, and I doubt it will be tomorrow, but I can hope that that day comes eventually...

  4. Late again, but I might as well still say my thoughts. It was a fun and enjoyable episode! Actually, I'm not sure that there's much more to say than that... It started off merely okay, but I found that it picked up as it went on. It was funny, cute, and overall, the same show I came to begin enjoying two years ago. I look forward to more episodes by these new writers!
  5. So yeah, I'm late to the party. That was a pretty well-done premiere! Starlight Glimmer was definitely an interesting antagonist (I also found it funny how she shut Twilight up in the middle of her friendship speech), and the whole plot made sense. Perhaps it wasn't as big as other season premieres, but it didn't really have to be. Overall, a fine episode and a good start to the season. I look forward to seeing where it goes from here!
  6. I really like the design of the phoenix badge. It was a sad day when I finally outgrew that rank...
  7. Eh, it honestly depends on the day. Most days, yeah, I'm perfectly fine being single because it seems to give me a lot of free time. I can't say from personal experience, but romantic relationships appear to require a lot of effort from both parties and I'm not sure if I'm mentally capable of holding up my end of the bargain at this point in my life. It's a lot of stress that I really don't need while I'm in my last years of college. There's the rare days where I wonder what it would be like, but those are few and far between enough that I can generally ignore them.
  8. Okay, so apparently I should check the weather forecast before telling people that I think it's finally stopped snowing in the Northeast...

  9. That depends on how much you enjoyed other Fire Emblem games and whether or not you're expecting it to be like them. Personally, no, I don't feel like it's worth it, though I was expecting it to be like Fire Emblem 7 (the first in the US). I could go into intimate detail as to why this is, but you probably don't want to read that. Keep in mind that I do tend to hold the minority opinion on this matter, so chances are you'll actually enjoy the game. I just can't honestly recommend it without cautioning you ahead of time.
  10. Why is Love, Chunibyo, and Other Delusions only 26 episodes long? D:

Why no more seasons?: To avoid fillers with out of character interpretations, the anime is restricted from the manga releases (quality over quantity).

Since selling happy meal toys based on romantic animes is not practical (tough the "dream weapons" of Chunibyo could be done as "action figures" for the hardcore collectors), there is a limit on the posible return/profit from the capital/inversion for the animation and time_slot_position of the anime in Japan.

Oh, haha, yeah, I understand why. I guess I just wasn't really ready for it to end when it did. To be completely honest, even beyond the economic reasons, for artistic purposes it probably SHOULDN'T continue (and shouldn't have had a second season for that matter), but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have fun watching a continuation! :)

  11. Which came first, the Nintendo 64 or the Gameboy Color? In any case, it's one of those two.
  12. There was a point today when I realized that going the entire day at a convention with minimal sleep and only a single muffin was a bad idea. I can't tell you when this point was, but I'm sure that it happened.

  13. Nope. I had a chance 5-8 years ago, but I was very confused and a bit terrified, so I politely turned her down. I don't regret it; we're still quite good friends and now she's living with a boyfriend who is much better for her. All things considered, I think it was a win for everyone.
  14. Well, I'll be in Boston, but I won't be going to PAX. I was at a job interview when tickets went on sale so... yeah. They were basically sold out by the time I could get online.
  15. I don't think I have a bad reputation (I hope not...). My guess would be that I'm not really associated with anything specific, and people would generally only recognize me because I've never permanently changed my username, and I've had the same signature/avatar for well over a year. If I decided to randomly change those one day, I could become a completely new person. However, the number of people who recognize me is probably dropping as well since I don't post very much anymore...
  16. Winter Storm Octavia wasn't all that bad up here in Boston. She sort of blew out into the ocean and didn't hit us directly, so she ended up being pretty uneventful compared to our earlier storms. Which was probably a good thing, because the subways here could really use a break from this winter... EDIT: By the way, the Octavia picture up in the OP is one of the greatest things ever!
  17. This seems like it could be amusing. Don't mind me, I'm mostly just posting so that it shows up in the 'Topics I've participated in' section on the front page. (I'd follow it, but getting notifications every time someone posts can get irritating.) If you want to add me in, go ahead (though it seems like you already have plenty of volunteers ).
  18. How did programmers survive before Stack Overflow?

  19. So the next winter storm to hit the northeast is apparently called Octavia. I have mixed feelings about this...

  20. Hey there, thanks for the friend add!

you're welcome, it's really cool find here more people studying computer science

  21. I'm pretty sure that we can already do that. I've never actually done it before, so I can't tell you how (nor do I have the time to look it up now), but I've definitely seen profiles where in the 'Last Active' section, it says that they're browsing anonymously. Sorry that I can't be more helpful than that though...
  22. Thank you guys for making this awesome! Once again, this was really fun to be a part of, and I'm so proud to call myself a member of such a kind and generous community. To the staff and everyone else who supported this event, you're all amazing and it wouldn't have been possible without you!
  23. Too much snow! Thankfully, I have no reason to go outside today.

  24. http://mlpforums.com/topic/117121-the-most-attractive-pony-tournament-2015-divisional-round/page-17#entry3422363 Have you voted for Octavia today? If not, go, and bring 25 of your closest friends! There's not much time left...
