  1. The figure stumbled, exhausted. Around him the trees roared, cloaked in flames, always burning, never consumed. He had once thought the heat intolerable, but now - after such a long time in the pits of hell, he found the heat far more welcome than the fridged areas, where the cold froze the very blood in your viens. Here you could survive, if you knew how. and after so long...the dirty grey figure knew how. Above the crackling noise and the roar of the fire, a growl was heard, and a chupacabra leapt out at him freom the surrounding flames. Ears back, they circled each other, the grey and black equine limping and snorting in 'fear', the demonic monkey-kangroo took another leap with fearsome screech - intent on the equines blood, he came too close and was speared on the equines prepared horn. The dark unicorn shook the blood off his horn as the creature writhed in its agonizing death throws. When it was quiet, the unicorn moved it into the fire, cooking the flesh for a meal. Oh yes, the nameless grey unicorn knew well how to survive.
  2. Alex saw Carlos acknowledge him and summon him over to the iron barrier, nodding in return, he backed up a little and took the distance at a gallop, using his wings for an extra burst of speed. He was almost halfway across when he heard the yell of another and he couldn't help but look. A winged unicorn was hit badly, as green as Alex was blue. He was dragging himself as fast as he could as the soldiers paused to reload, too good of a target! Alex turned on a dime, his wings giving him the agility so he didn't trip and he dashed to help - sliding himself under the other and using his wings to keep the injured creature from sliding off his back. He moved as fast as he could with his burden, back towards the iron barricade, a burst of adrenaline helping him on his way as he shouted, "cover fire! cover fire!" praying that Carlos would keep the soldiers pinned down until he could get this one to safty.
  3. As soon as Carlos got off of him, Alex turned and dove for cover behind a large metal dumpster, shots pinging off of it as he slid to a halt behind it, he turned back in time to see a trail of snow coming from the cieling where the pastel blue pony (@Descant) hovered just visable to him. He turned to hear what Carlos had just said, was there anything he could do to help? He wasn't an expert on 'my little pony' and only knew that he could fly for short distances for the moment. the unicorns could apparently do magic - he glanced back at the blue pastel again - did that mean pegasi could as well? "C-Carlos?" he winced at another barrage of bullets, talking would give away any plans obviously, so he looked as determind as he could, trying to show that he was willing to help too.
  4. Nameless narrowed his eyes, king he might be, but also lacking in manners..the stallion had basically insulted him in the worst way possible, he might have offered his services to the unicorn but that didn't mean he had debased himself! "I come from near the Monoceros mountains, being useless is not an option there..." He stood tall, now staring directly at the stallion as opposed to his earlier covert gazes. "I am an outcast of the Licorne Warrior Caravan tribe. Magic other than basic levitation is generally reserved for the shammans or magician warriors. I was only given that honor after I had already killed my first crocotta* and proved myself a stallion to the tribe. Even without my powers i am far from useless." He calmed, eyes turning from blazing electric blue to icy cold, "My master, a shamman named Fornax was trained by his master Escultor to forge magician warriors who would be loyal to the clan. Unfortunatly, I was more interested in power and discovering thier limits than to bowing and scraping. I was uninterested in the wars and feuds of my Tribe, nor did I care about thier peace treaties. I wanted knowledge, and cared little for anything else. I was soon cosidered Mad and dangerous, and my master was told to stop me." It was the longest speech he had ever made, and realising this, he cut it short, " These Chains were forged by my Master to controll my more...irratic behaviours, by consuming my powers when I attempt to use them - anything that demands to much energy takes double that energy away from me, besides the original power consumed by the spell. He forged it from Star metal, from the Starridge Aeries of the Eastern Hippogriff Clan, I cannot break it, and I would have asked you later at a more appropriate time...Had not you taken the task from me, yourself." ((crocotta - dog-wolf/hyena creature of an enemy tribe that wander the same lands as the Licorne Caravan. Far from Equestria and may or may not have been around/known about in King Flares time, your choice. ))
  5. Alex jumped, surprised they knew who he was, even in this form! He followed the group and helped them dig out the hole, following them through into the garage. He took one of the packets and then cautiously looked around the cieling, spotting three security cameras he exercised his wings and flew up to them and altered thier positions, figuring that destroying them would only show where they were. Now they faced the opposite door, away from where they had come from. He crossed back over to the group, finished and shaking from the exertion of flying. "They may not notice us here for a while at least. I was not in the camera's view."
  6. Alex looked at the only human with them when he spoke, but he seemed to be talking to someone else. He followed through the hole in the wall with the others turning to the one called 'Bright Spark' "Those alerted would not have known that we would be teleported here and wouldn't have been able to set it up in such an amount of time...I am more conscerned about the Captain Snow..will she be alright here? Although trained for combat, here she is outnumbered..."
  7. Alex walked a turn around the office, excersizing his wings until the muscles were strong enough to attempt flight. He hovered for a bit and landed, hopeing to conserve the energy until it was needed. He watched the man finished dressing himeself - having looked away to give him some privacy at least - and then noticed the lock of hair. He looked over his glasses at the others who seemed to be taking charge, he had no problem with that..but felt sorry that the Captain had had to sacrifice herself like that for them. Quietly he edged up to the others and asked "Is there any chance that she is still back in the cages room?"
  8. Nameless looked on after his introduction, watching as the glowing creature walked in, his eyes narrowed against the glare - he delt with shadows, and even though most of his powers had been locked away, he still disliked bright lights. He shuffled back a bit and watched the cultist through the haze of light the being threw off. He had been hopeing that he could ask the possessed stallion to free him from his chains and release his...*darker* side. but he supposed he could ask later. For now, he would observe and remain silent.
  9. Alex woke up with a roaring headache, unsure of what had happened. last he remembered he had been dealing with the machines monitoring activity when...something had happened. He opened his eyes and lay there trying to reajust to his...surroundings? he sat up slowly, head reeling with a loud rushing sound. He felt heavy, not just from his head pounding.. He blinked slowly and looked around and saw...PONIES? Unicorns? In shock, alex did whatever they said before his brain started functioning normally again. He looked down, resigned to his new dark blue body, and wished he had a mirror. turning his head on his now-elongated neck he saw wings and tried to flutter them, or move them at least, his muscules objected, not having been used before, not even sure how to move. he dropped them again, in an awkward movement in time to be told to go to a certain point...and then they vanished.. ((sorry for out of character, but really didn't have a choice on what else to do.))
  10. ((Ok, wow. sorry, power went out because of a major snowstorm, i'll try to catchup and post when I can, but it seems you guys really got far ahead... ...not sure how to manage this now...suggestions? I was supposed to be one of the scientists in the room...? remember that bit?))
  11. XD that's hysterical! Unfortunately I cant play video games - I have no talent in them what so ever, but I like watching other people play them, so I found this very amusing XD CreepyPasta all around!
  12. Nameless arched his neck down once more, hiding amusment at the restless spirit and his popping in and out of his host body, he knew little about this Gust and even less about this pale unicorn - she looked frail and tired...except her eyes which were sharp and focused on the possesed unicorn. He straightened again when those burning eyes focused on him. "I am skilled in Shadow magics, including Hiding, defence and attacking. although...for now I can only use Hiding" he looked away, ashamed to admit such a failing. He cursed again his master Senka who had bound him. Even now, to try to prove his point he attempted to raise the shadows as beings around him and felt the irons that shackled him burn as the wards flared up and glowed in defence. He stopped, sides heaving and legs shaking as blood dripped from the new wounds the burning metal had caused on his forelegs. Still refusing to lose himself completely before this entity, he continued to stand his ground. The spell had taken a lot out of him this time. "Forgive my inadequacy...I still hope you can find a use for me.." ((if you're confused on his powers just let me know))
  13. Nameless bowed to the new unicorn, pleased to have been witness to such a powerfull magics completion. Powerfull magics had always been of interest to him, one of the reasons he had been exiled in the first place - he didn't care about the consequenses or who got hurt..He paused in that thought..he hadn't remembered that before..He rose again and glanced down at the Chains on his neck and legs, beginning to understand thier full purpose at last. mentally Cursing them and his former master who had put them there he turned back to the present and the new unicorn stallion before him. White and blazing red; pure colours that hid no intentions, with clear blue eyes. A very handsome stallion indeed, unlike his own dark moody grey crossed with scars and scratches and electric blue eyes that hid behind bangs and hooded eyes. once again, he felt an unfamiliar thrill through him - another emotion. It seemed he was feeling more with these dark Folk then in all his days of wandering the nations since his exile. His master had been correct - he was of the darkness and it controlled him just as he controlled it. there was no separation of the two. What had the skeleton called this one? King Flare? Flare...with a fire mark..his facial muscles relaxed very so slightly. where there was a fire there were shadows. It seemed Fate had twisted in his favor this time....
  14. I have two sides in me tearing me apart - I've been told that this is normal - but I have strange malevolent thoughts at times that consern me...oh well. As for the most evil thing I have done? Usually got my older brother in trouble for things I had done - waaay too easy unfortunatly. Also....I ATE THE LAST KLONDIKE BAR!!BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
  15. Nameless was wrenched out of the shadows and reformed, it hurt! but his interest level increaced; he hadn't been forced from his own spell since his Master had last trained him as a colt! He gathered himself together as he stood and shook off his hood, revealing his face: he only had one ear - the other in tatters and a scar ran through his left eye, matching the scars on the rest of his body. He faced the skeletal stallion square on, unafraid..rather..curious. His head tilted slightly as he considered the questions. "I do not know my name...rather I am Nameless..as good a name as any I suppose. I am not spying, as that would require me to report to someone...You seem interesting...so I followed you here." He pulled back one fore-leg and stretched out his neck in a slight bow, "You seem to be gathering for something, and I am simply curious...." he looked at the stallion from under his bangs, "are you still looking for allies?"
  16. while the flames rose from the burning village, Nameless got the rest of the villager ponies who hadn't been caught already by the zombies and got them to an area in the woods where they could avoid the hoard. once done, he realised that he had been separated from the others... finally alone again, he relaxed and decided to go back to his original plan - find out what was going on by himself by going to the source..in other words - the mountain. climbing up he summoned his magic, feeling his restricting chains tighen in warning, as they always did, using his shadow magic was dangerous for the barriers that had been set in his mind before he had been banished from his homelands. The barriers that kept him calm...and bored. The shadows swallowed him, melding his form with the shadows on the cliffside. It was a place between dimentions; turning the world around him gray and dull to his sight, and rendering him invisible from the sight of others. Thus concealed, he made his way to the cave where the zombies trouped towards, they couldn't see him, of course, but any sound he made was covered by thier own noise - zombies weren't the quietest creatures - the moaning of thier captured souls that were tormented with the un-death they didn't deserve along with their own clopping hoofs as the stumbled to thier masters call. Hearing voices, he followed them until he saw a gathering, this time of obvious non-zombies. Nameless tucked himself away in a racky outcropping as he looked on; a dark creature was offering his services on behalf of a Queen Chrysalis..the name wasn't familiar to him, but the gift he gave the skeleton was definately interesting as was the crowned skeleton himself..Nameless felt a strange sensation in his mind - something he had thought long frozen - interest! This was interesting! he leaned closer and slithered into the shadows of a bigger rock near the very bottom of the outcrop, as close as he could without leaving the shadows.
  17. How about just wearing a pin? others wouldn't nessecarily get it but any bronies would and would soon let you know, no? Thats what I did, only I put a Luna pin on.
  18. Mine would be when I posted some pony artwork on Devient art and one of my friends, whom i was roomates with from when I was in another country studying art, commented on it that she liked Rainbowdash too! I haven't talked to her since about 3 years ago when we parted ways, but now we are both Bronyfriends ^.^ this is the artwork btw:
  19. ((making some adjustments to my character - hope its okay)) with a stomp of his hoof Nameless turned and looked between the local ponies and the masked one "heard of the staff before?" He wondered if the masked one, although an official had any more clue to what was going on then the rest of the, when he heard the child become afraid behind him, he felt a phantom twitch where his other ear would have been, had it not been ripped off years before. Good maybe he'll learn that it takes strength to become strong, not just headstrong adventuring but real training. He narrowed his eyes, glancing back at the colt in his periferal vision as a small annoying part of him voiced maybe he'll learn your mistakes the easy way. He ignored that part and turned back to the colt, looking down on him, gauging his use besides that of obvious meatshield. "Adventures aren't heroic unless your side wins, otherwise they're just massacres" part of him wanted to keep this kid safe and part just wanted him to grow up fast like he had. a third part was warring between telling this kid to run away and praising him for fighting at all. A small part just wanted to strangle him for being annoying.
  20. XD ahh Snaips and snails, for those that didn't know Its a pun based on an old nursury rhyme stating that little boys are made of 'snips and snails and puppy dog tails' i think that might be why adults wouldn't find them offensive...snails being 'slimey and gross' and therefore of interest to little boys, not because they're low....just putting that in there..
  21. Mad king? Mad as in angry or crazy? He glared over to Star Rain who was looking through the book, stareing furiously at it as if glareing would give her more answers. "What requires a forbidden...whatever? If you're going to give information at least give us the previous entry.." He flicked his tail aggrivated, just giving the last cut off sentence didn't help the situation, and that colt was really getting on his nerves! His ears turned back as the kid looked at each of them with a hopeless expression on his face. Hasn't anyone taught this colt to be seen and not heard? ((I warned that he was abrasive..He's actually still being nice for his standards...usually he'd have gone off to do his own thing by now, but he's useing you guys for information...two heads think better than one, as it goes.))
  22. Nameless looked over them all, fire would be usefull as would the shield although he noticed the couple was less versed in weapons than the others. The purple one had combat experience as far as he could tell, and the child....was still a child. Let someone else explain the reality of the world to him... He shook his mane beneath its hood, trying to think of a next step; Going up against many with a group was a first for him as well, it would mean protecting others instead of fighting in his own style...one of the reasons he didn't normally join up in adventuring groups..But the thought setting a fire in a wooded area was appealing. He shook that thought off mentally and summed up thier situation: two bookworms - one with magic.. the mask would and could magic and fight..the zebra would be strong like most of his kind, so he wasn't conscerned about either of the two warriors. "Why here?" he muttered, "what is near here that a cult might want..?" he came closer to the group still milling around the cart and confronted Topaz ((and shooting Star)) "Are there legends about this area that may conscern us?"
  23. Right now? studying for History of Art 200 which is basically from the Paliolithic period to High Gothic if that helps anyone....80 IMAGES TO MEMORISE!! and that's besides the rest of the information and dates ARGH!! then I have one more online exam and Essay to sort out !
  24. Nameless looked into the wagon, noting that most of these wepons were practical, like the heavy horseshoes that Thunder had taken, there were a couple of swords and spears which he looked at, but direguarded mostly in the end - in close quarters they would be inthe way. He ended up taking a few chakram from the Ib'Xian continent and a sickle chain combination that ensured distance and accuracy. Distance was best. After a moments hesitation, he also shod his feet in iron, one couldn't count on an opponent to stay far after all. He distanced himself again, putting the Chakram pouch on the collar on his neck - the sickle he tucked away under his cloak. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/--59dg2mpR28/Te1TChkxsgI/AAAAAAAAAGg/dFkjETA6A0s/s1600/kusarigama.jpg http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4529585026433395&pid=15.1
  25. hyperactive colt and bad leg sould stay away..he thought to himself but it's thier funeral and none of my conscern... He stretched out, cat like, to crack his back and release the tension there when Thunder made his voice heard. His eyes narrowed again as he shook himself off and straigtened, interesting, no tactics from the Knight... He shuffled closer now, "before we charge off, " he rasped quietly, again not looking quite at anyone."Powers? we have unicorns in the group.."
