  1. It's actually very, very good. I might even commission this artist, too.

Congratulations on coming to terms with a part of yourself that society may wish to pressure you into hiding. I have a good few friends in the ABDL fandom and absolutely none of them have made it public to any forum they've been on so respect to you Kyoshi for being brave enough to be open about it. I've always thought you were rad ever since the old days of the forums and it makes me happy to see you doing what makes you happy.

I also really dig the color scheme.

WB! :) I have left pony forums in the past and coming back to them is sweet

Freelance writer eh - you do write nicely. Do you do any pony stuff?

Nothing recent enough I'd want to show it off, at least not yet. All my pony related writing is so old that it's quality is pretty embarrassing. If I go back to writing pony fanfics I'll make an entirely new Fimfiction account solely for that purpose.

I'm blaming you for ruining my head :yeahno::okiedokieloki:

Nah, I'm just joking. How you doing these days @Harmonic Revelations? Yeah, i may missed some stuff (some of them I'm glad I didn't get involved in) but recently it's getting crazier out there. So I'm wondering how you holding up during COVID and whatnot recently.

I've been doing relatively fine. I live in a pretty small town with nothing to do in it so being in quarantine honestly hasn't had me missing out on much, and since I work from home it hasn't been too much of a financial burden either.

I hope you're doing well in these trying times.

This tiny entry here has more people I've expected not to see again than any recent ones I"ve seen in past 2 years. And I've seen some stuff...

But I digress... ...YOU. I shall not lie when I say I recognize the name, but not the person. Back in late 2013 I was too preoccupied in getting accustomed to new forums and being pulled into some really wicked shenanigans to express interest in all the active members at the time.

EDIT: To explain: I was on different forums but was peeking on MLPF at all times :P

And for heaven's sake, I forgot about the belly buttons stuff, why would you bring that up again!? D:

Nice Helltaker profile picture. I can see you're someone of culture.

And I brought up the belly button thing again  because if I'm traumatized the rest of you have to be traumatized as well.

Wait, forgive me for asking this but what in the heck are you talking about?  I mean I didn't get introduced to the Internet until around 2013-14 and didn't join MLP Forums until two months ago so I guess I definitely missed some things so I think I need some more details on that :adorkable:

When Chaotic Discord was a mod he made pony belly buttons a trend in avatars, signatures, and even had a Skype group dedicated entirely to sharing pictures of belly buttons.

It was a wild time to be alive.

Hey @Harmonic Revelations Ray here, I joined MLP Forums since November 2020, two months ago.

I'll be the first to admit I did some things I'm honestly not proud of and truth be told, I don't wanna go into details of them other than saying I made some actions I terribly regretted.

My advice is that to forget all the negativity and all the things you regretted and focus on the present and the positivity and keep your past mistakes out of your memories.

Thanks. That's what I'll focus on.

Lies, we share a special connection. :proud: A telepathic link for whenever I mention your name with an @ sign in front of it.

Yup, I get that comment a lot, in and out of person. :mustache: The Navel Avatar/Signature Revolution topics are still around, which means all the created avatars and signatures I made for people still should be, too.

I might go dig through it and see if I can find myself in one of them.

When you're remembered not for your hard admin work going on three years, your wit, your sass, your creative writing or even your basic bitch graphic design skills, but that extravagant belly button trend you did that one or three times.

    9c9.gif

That's because there's dozens of hard-working staff members I've met on sites through the years but only one guy obsessed with belly buttons, hence why it stands out.

I'm still trying to find the hard drive with the pics from that group chat saved on it. No luck so far.

One does not simply walk away from entities of þðñ¥ and never return. We've all come back at some point or another, be it to occasionally pop in or a single catch-up. I managed to briefly summon @Zoop last year just by challenging his love for Fluttershy. :Daydreaming:

I remember little asides your Trixie avatars, so I guess that's good news for both of us! :mlp_smug: Nevertheless glad to see other Elder Gods still exist from the days of early Feldian creation. MLPF has become far more focused on community-driven interaction since our initial leaves in 14' and 15', and I think it's been for the better. @Jericand his staff have done well with revitalizing what this site was originally intended for and capitalizing on it. Should you decide to stick around at all, I'm sure you'll see for yourself.

You may have forgotten me, but I could never forget you. The belly button Skype group is forever ingrained into my nightmares and sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat.

I can tell from the stay I've had so far that the forums' current focus seems to be on quality over quantity of content which is something I greatly appreciate. Back in the day things felt really impersonal due to the fact hundreds of members came and went all the time.

I wasn't staff when you were banned back in 2014, but I recall your poise and of course that somewhat memorable animated Trixie avatar. We could all probably write a book about our lives since then. I may not be correctly remembering your talent, and didn't know your age back then, but I do recall being somewhat impressed by your insights into pony back when I was just getting into the fandom myself.

I said this to you privately, but I want to reiterate it here again, none of us are really the same person we were after years of experiences. Nor will we be the same person after years of new experiences. As humans we all have the capacity to grow if we step back and reflect. None of us have to become saints, that would be boring, however we can always try and be better than our most emotional instincts would have us be.

That's enough of that. I firmly believe in not pushing someone's old mistakes back upon them, so I can promise you a clean slate. You do really need to eventually get caught up. You missed a lot! I actually am looking forward to your thoughts on a few of the 'newer' episodes. It is certainly nice seeing a fresh perspective from an old timer.

I did do quite a bit of half-serious satirical analysis of pony-related topics back in the day here on my blog and I am definitely not against taking that tongue-in-cheek approach and talking about some of the newer episodes.

Not sure I'd call what I had poise as much as I'd call it haughtiness but I appreciate the compliment none-the-less. Honestly if my earnest self-confidence was anywhere close to what I used to project as a front for my insecurities I'd probably have conquered half the Earth by now.

Look forward to half-comprehensible analysis of the later episodes as my brain struggles to make sense of so much pastel horse all in one sitting.

Derp; I just encountered said thread - I found this blog post first. Sounds like you already thought of this and I'm preaching to the choir.

Share it forth! Bring it all here. May our Glorious Solar Goddess watch benevolently over us all. :sunbutt:

Just finished rewriting the introduction in a way that's way too long to reasonably expect anyone to read.

Brace yourself for more Celestia art the moment I remember how to embed images on this website. :sunbutt:

Welcome back, Harmonic! It's as heartwarming to see old users returning as it is to have newponies joining MLPF for the first time. You had excellent taste in Celestia art that I look forward to being graced by again.

7 years is a really long time, wow - you, I, and this site are all so.... old now! :P

Long enough for people to change and for bygones to be bygones, I say; I'm glad to see you getting a chance to enjoy MLP Forums again as I know this place meant a lot to you and you have a lot of good to offer it.

Although you aren't exactly "new," may I suggest starting a Welcoming Plaza thread? I'm sure you'll find - and be recognized by - a number of "the ancients" but I believe your situation more than justifies a fresh self-intro should you want one. Consider it a way to mingle with our newer users and form a new "first impression" just the way you'd like it as the pony you are today, free of the past's baggage. :yay:

Ah, the one and only Feld0. It's great to see you. Yeah, it seems like we're all getting up there in age. At this rate I'll be getting gray hairs soon. And yeah, this place means a lot to me, it has so much sentimental value, especially since looking back it was a huge part of my formative teenage years. It's kind of crazy how much of my social interaction at that time was entirely done online, but then again I live in such a small town it's not likely I'd have been able to meet many people just by going around my hometown.

You will be pleased to know that my Sunbutt art collection has been preserved in pristine condition on my old HDDs and is once again growing. Soon Celestia will conquer all, it is inevitable.

I'm glad to hear you have faith in me to reintegrate and be a positive contributor to the forum, and I'll do my best to make sure it's well placed.

I slid a welcome thread in on my return though admittedly it was light on details about myself so I'll probably edit it to rewrite the post and be a bit more of a proper introduction to who I am, my interests, the like.

I do remember you. I've spent the better part of four hours looking through my old interactions with people and it's jogged my memory considerably. It's good to see you again.

  13. Every fandom creates internet porn! The Japanese Anime fanbase is one of the largest producers of it! ... and thanks for caring about the rest of my post.

The reason why it seems like we make a big deal about it is because everyone and anyone outside this fanbase will fight tooth and nail to get dirt on a group of men who watch a TV show geared towards little girls. When haters make such assumptions about bronies and bestiality regarding our pony pornography, it will result in bronies frowning upon cloppers in attempt to try to show to the world that this community is more than a bunch of perverts who want to see pony ass. Bronies who like adult content, also fail to be discreet about it when it comes to associating with their fellow herd members regarding clop, further angering them. Which leads to more bronies labeling such people as cloppers as a derogatory term for folks who masturbate to ponies.

All this because many bronies who believe that ostracizing such will make them better in the eyes of the public who constantly insults us. Embracing pony porn like its the best thing about this show will only result in more negative public opinions.

Your entire argument is based one one huge false assumption:

That a lack of legitimate reasons to insult us would cause the haters to stop.

It would not. They say these things even if they're ungrounded in order to upset and offend us. They do not care if it's actually true. So by ostracizing the other parts of the fandom, you're only making BOTH the haters AND the "dark side" of the fandom your enemies.

The world doesn't care if there is actually any basis to their claims as long as they get under our skin.

Thus, public opinion would be no different even if pony porn wasn't a thing. They'd still say it was a thing.
