For me the answer will obviously be Gen 4 simply based on nostalgia. Now, a better question is can G5 live up to that legacy and deliver an experience that will give a new generation of people the same level of entertainment we got when we first watched Gen 4? Based on the movie, I'd say yes.

In retrospect on the whole thing I'd sum up 'pony waifus' as being lonely with extra steps.

Time sure does fly. It feels like only yesterday I was making my introductory post, making tongue-in-cheek blogs and interviewing popular users. The years have gone by so fast.

Relieved that they didn't react with the scorn and ridicule that I expected them to, for the most part. Other than that it was simply nice to get off my chest. At the age I joined the fandom I was somewhat of a nervous wreck in public and wasn't very skillful at expressing myself, to say the least.

Princess Celestia as she has always been my favorite pony, but more importantly it'd be interesting to have a philosophical discussion with someone who is simultaneously a beacon of justice and over a millennia old. I could probably get some words of wisdom from her that'd carry through into my life in general.

Twilight Sparkle because I am a huge nerd and could go on and on for hours about a variety of academic topics and it'd be nice to speak to a fellow egghead.

And last but not least, Rainbow Dash so I can ask a burning question as old as this fandom which will not be listed here in this post.

If you mean specifically MLP-related collectibles then the answer is both yes and no. The MLP merch I have is not valuable to me beyond sentimental value as I'm not really into the show as much as I once was, back when I first joined. But the merch has a lot of special memories tied to it, many of them involving this forum, so I cherish them deeply in that regard alone.

I don't really have faith they'll be good. I mean, I don't like to be negative generally but I feel looking at the trailers that Gen 5 looks like it was animated by the people who made the Emoji movie or something. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and being cautiously optimistic, which is probably the most reasonable approach to take right now to such a radical departure from what people liked about G4.

There's plenty of custom print shops around that do Blu Rays, the trouble would be the legality of it is questionable.

Living forever is a fever dream, there's too much that can go wrong. We can only eliminate certain potential avenues of death. 

I'd argue the fact people eventually die is a good thing, anyway. If life didn't eventually end it wouldn't have any value, and the mundanity of living for so long would certainly drive you mad. There's only so much you can actually do.

Blu Ray is more and more becoming an outdated medium. It's understandable that they don't have the full collection available, especially since the sales on something like that probably wouldn't recoup production costs.

I sleep exclusively laying down on my stomach, and I tend to sleep in, usually until past noon. 

I'm all for it but I require them to do a cross promotion with 3D Doritos to justify making the movie 3D.

One of my best friends stole a four dollar fidget spinner back in 2017 from Walmart. I can't remember why he did it but I'm pretty sure we were drinking that night so that's probably why.

Yes and no. In the early days I drew a large amount of friends but perhaps an equally great number of people who disliked me, so it evens out.
