  2. I honestly like the idea a lot and I would love to see where you take it. I generally don't have opinions about any of the characters' pasts because it can ruin them or it gets too out-of-hand, but I don't sense that here. I can definitely tell you've thought about the idea and the details about how this story would work and know how to keep it interesting. I know I would at least be interested in reading this if you decided to make it happen. Also, D'AWWW at the fillies. :3
  3. Taking an online Social Psychology course for free...because I can.

  4. Having our kitchen floor redone, Pro: The fridge is temporarily 10 feet closer to my room. Con: There's a hole in the floor right in front of it.

  5. Currently I'm only fluent in English, obviously, but I've been working on learning French for a while. I've been working through Rosetta Stone as an introduction to the language and I'm going to start taking a French class fall term so hopefully what I've learned so far will help with that. I don't know much about the language yet but I love learning it and speaking it. Although right now I'm a lot better at reading and speaking it than writing or listening to it. Some day I'll go to France or Belgium and get a chance to test out what I know.
  6. I've always been really good at staying up late. I feel that no matter how much sleep I get I still feel tired when I have to wake up in the morning. I always have this feeling that I'm missing time I could be doing other things when I'm asleep. Sleeping is just a waste of time. My mind is constantly running and I find it hard to calm down my brain long enough to relax so instead I just stay up until it's almost impossible not to sleep. As a result my days always suck, or at least the mornings do. I can barely get out of bed and I feel like I can sleep forever. I live off of coffee, it's not the caffeine that keeps me going, just having a nice warm drink is very relaxing and coffee tastes good. I guess it does keep me from feeling too tired during the day and helps me focus during class.
  7. It seems pretty good to me. Overall the lip syncing was pretty on and the head movements added to it a lot. I can't do stuff like this at all, so I think it's awesome. Plus I like that song. Keep up the work though! I'd love to see what else you do in the future.
  8. Quote from my new roommate's mom (because she's moving in early): "Move in day! Going to be the prettiest pink dorm room yet."

Well idk, all you can do is ask for them to be taken down.

Otherwise i got nothing, sorry :/.

Hope moving into the dorm goes well when you do though.

  9. ...so long as you have insurance. As you may or may not know I just got back from a family vacation to Japan. When we came in the kitchen there was a small puddle of water near the fridge. Sometimes that happens in our house with the fridge and dishwasher so it didn't seem all that strange. In fact it could have been the person that was house-sitting for us had dropped some ice on the floor. So when my parents moved the fridge back just to check, we were surprised to realize there was a leak in the water hose thing for the fridge and water was soaking into the floor (which is bad). I was gone for a couple weeks and forgot that this had happened when I got back I was informed of the schedule for all the contract work being done. But since this involves water damage there's a whole process of drying out the floor that has to be done before they can replace the tile and fix the fridge. Lucky for us our insurance covers the cost of the repairs for the floor. If you've never had work done on your kitchen then you may not realize that working on the kitchen floor means that everything has to be taken out to access it, like all those silly little appliances such as your fridge, dishwasher, and stove. Who needs to eat anyways? Not me. Why insurance is awesome reason #2: When you no longer have a stove, your fridge is in the dining room, and your counters and cabinets are inaccessible, it makes cooking impossible. So we have to eat all our meals out. But isn't that expensive? Darn right it is. That's why the insurance is covering the cost for us to go out to eat for all our meals. As someone that loves food almost as much as her cat, this is a most excellent deal. TL;DR Flood your kitchen, get free food.

  16. I don't think there's any one name or group of names that's could be called common, I think it's that people stick to a very unoriginal list of words and put these common words together. Like they just pick two words that relate to what their OC does and combine them to make a name. It's usually some sort of noun-adjective combination. It's all words like: flash, blaze, wind, moon, dancer, rose, spirit, night, dust, shine, blood. It's these words that are common, not so much the combinations of them. That's why I did research for mine and found a word in another language that describe what my OC did and used that as her name instead of some generic music-related words.
  17. The brony community would dissolve; a war between its members would negate its foundations on friendship. The entire purpose of the show is to dispel negative attitudes and teach people to get along and work together, despite the situation. So, I cannot see an instance where the Bronies would be involved in a war that related to mlp, and still be able to call themselves bronies.

  20. Since I haven't posted a picture in a while... This is me failing mastering a ninja course at a ninja village somewhere in the mountains of Japan.
  21. I'm the same way, I'm a lot better on paper than on the computer. I'm not even going to try digital drawing though until I get a drawing tablet... which will hopefully be soon. But anyways, looking forward to seeing your finished paper drawing.
  22. I don't know. In a post she made she said she bounces between Bulimia and EDNOS. Her weight hasn't changed much in the last year and she's not really thin. We don't know much at this point.
  23. Today I found out my sister has an eating disorder. It's hit me harder than I thought. I came back to my dad's today after being in Japan for a week. About an hour after I got home my step mom asked me to go outside and talk to her. Usually these talks don't go well for me, I was getting frantic trying to think about what I could have done this time. But I couldn't think of anything they would care about (or at least know about) that I had done since probably middle school. My step mom looked extremely concerned about something and she kept messing with a tangled ball of yarn, searching for the right words. "Has Caley said anything to you about an eating disorder." No, of course not. I don't pay attention to what she eats. I never sat with her at lunch at school, but then again I never ate anything for lunch myself. I tried to remember any hints towards this behavior. Nothing. My step mom went on to explain that my sister had left her email open on my step mom's computer and she saw a response a girl had made to a question my sister posted on Yahoo Answers. My sister admitted on their to having an eating disorder for about a year now. This is something I never expected to affect my family. I've never been able to consider having an eating disorder because I love food and I'm not self-conscious about my body. Whenever I feel fat or like I ate too much I just go for a run, or eat something healthy for my next meal. I feel bad because this has gone on for so long and no one has noticed. We live in the same house and the walls are thin. How did we not notice? Right now she doesn't know that my step mom and I know and no one is going to tell my dad any time soon. She doesn't have a healthy lifestyle in the first place, but she does dance a lot. She's always been very conscious about weight, but my whole family has. She always makes comments about me being tiny, but I'm just a small person in general. I can understand why she feels pressured because of being a dancer and from being around me. I feel very lost in this situation, I've only ever had one friend admit she had an eating disorder before but hers had been getting better. I want to help her and tell her that I know, but that will only make her mad. I think my step mom feels awful that it's been going on this long and she didn't know. Until she decides my sister needs professional help all I can think of to do is watch her eating habits and keep her in a positive mind-set. Thus concludes this rather lengthy post.
