Oddish got like this often, so she wasn't surprised she was acting like this. Absol more or less disregarded the Poliwag trying to play with him, and tuned his ears to hear what Stella was talking about.

Trixie thinks it is... pedestrian.

Trixie appreciates your sentiment; but if "good" is what Twilight Sparkle and her friends are doing, Trixie will not participate.

@@PonyEcho, Stella smiled at Drew and gave the treat to Oddish, who ate it hastily. Oddish then suddenly remembered what they were doing before hand, still wanting to battle, and pulled on Stella's leg, and cried out a few times, a sweet scent emanating from the leaves on her head. Stella at first didn't realize why Oddish had done that, until she realized where the sweet scent was coming from. "Soon." She said to Oddish, feeling confident now that Absol would listen to her, and that they could take on Jasmine easily. Oddish let go, and walked away to sulk.

So. I can't preach Trixieism anymore? :C

@@PonyEcho, Stella giggled at Poliwag's reaction. "Sure..." She said in response, walking up to Paul and taking a treat from him. "But, you'll have to give some to the other pokemon as well." She added playfully. Stella walked up to Absol and gave him the treat, trying to be as carefree as possible. Absol took the treat quickly, not realizing how cautious Stella was being.

@@PonyEcho, Absol looked at the treat for a bit, then ate it slowly. Oddish ate the treat happily. Stella smiled slightly. Last time Absol was out he vanished in a flash. But he seems perfectly calm right now. "Maybe it's just me..." Stella began thinking, losing confidence in herself again.

@@PonyEcho, Stella said nothing. She knew he was right, but didn't want to admit to it. "Uh. Yea, it's fine..." She said in a low, quiet voice. Battling with Absol would be nice, but she wasn't sure she could do it, or if it was even a good idea. Oddish looked at Paul excitedly, as she rarely had such things.

@@PonyEcho, "Well..." Stella began "My father gave him to me. I haven't really battled with him..." She sighed softly. Those stories always irritated Stella. The more she heard them the more she started to believe them. Not to mention; if she couldn't control Absol, he could also prove those true.

@@PonyEcho, Oddish was confused by the Poliwag's greeting. She let out a soft "Odd?", and sat down. Absol smiled slightly in response to the Poliwag, but quickly looked away. "Uh. I'm Stella." Stella said in response, smiling slightly, before spinning around again. Absol didn't look very angry... or anything of the sort. In fact he looked pretty pleasant. "And, I'm fine." She added, though not entirely sure.

@@PonyEcho, Stella spun around, having her back towards the boy, upon hearing the hello. "Uh... Hi." She said quietly. "And I was hoping he was going to ignore me..." Stella began to show a bit of irratation on her face, but quickly brushed it away too look as neutral as possible. Oddish walked up bashfully to Absol, having never seen him very often. Absol paid no attention to the little Oddish, and lied down.

@@PonyEcho, Since the other trainer had not noticed her, Stella felt a bit less nervous. Though; the only move she could practice without another pokemon was Venoshock, which was pointless to practice. "Odd!" Oddish cried over and over, waiting for a command. Stella bit her lip. She wasn't sure training with Absol was a good idea. Wild pokemon was an option, but she was also against battling wild pokemon randomly. Shaking her head, Stella unclipped the great ball containing Absol from her necklace, and called him out. "Absol!" Absol got out sleepily, a bit confused, and stretched. It had been a while since he had been outside his pokeball. Stella smiled nervously. Absol looked really powerful. Much more then Oddish, defiantly. She had also always thought Absol was one of the most gorgeous pokemon, due to how the sun always reflected off their coats. She waited for Absol a bit, before she would command either him or Oddish to do anything.

FTL (Faster then Light) is my favorite. I know it's not as popular; but it's ridiculously fun and addicting. But then again: I rarely play RTS.

@@Flareon @@PonyEcho, Stella sighed softly seeing that the only near by clearing had someone so close to it. She didn't really want to look for another clearing. So, she walked over to the clearing, as casually as possible, and called out oddish. "Oddish!" Oddish was a bit fired up. She was in a fighting mood, and let out a loud cry. "I'll wait to call out Absol. Hopefully he would have left at that point..."

@@Flareon, "Right." Stella said in response. "I'll be back sooner then later, then." Not wanting to train in the city, Stella opened her map. "Well. I suppose I could train on route Route 39." She thought, heading over in that direction. Hopefully Absol might respond, and if not, she could always catch a pokemon. Hopefully, that is. Checking her bag, she had 4 pokeballs. "That should be good." She thought as she approached the route, and looked for a clearing.
