  1. @, "It's fine..." Stella said quietly, not wanting to really converse at this moment. "Wait. Did you say something about a gym?" She asked, getting a bit excited. The lighthouse could wait. If there was a gym near by, that was going to be her top priority. Even if Oddish was most likely going to have to be a stand alone, with Absol being a brat and all, a little practice is always nice. "Would you mind showing me where it is?" She asked. Oddish had begun struggling against her hold, wanting to be let down.
  2. @, Stella looked confused at the Riolu that was standing before them. As far as she knew, Riolu shouldn't be in the Johto region, period. She examined the pokemon a bit closer, before remembering something. "Oh. Right. The gym leader here is supposed to be a steel type trainer, so I would guess a lot of trainers follow in her footsteps with the whole type thing." She thought aloud. "I don't understand why focusing on one type is such a good idea, but, whatever." At this point, Oddish has woken up and let out a soft yawn.
  3. Much better. Now; do you like lollipops?
  4. Lyra. Change your font color. I can't read it.
  5. Stella got off the boat quickly, and looked out at the ocean. She didn't want to feel homesick, but couldn't help but feel it slightly. Turning around quickly to survey the area, The building were huge, and there looked like there was a lot to do there. Stella looked back down to the Oddish to see an indifferent expression on her face. Sighing, Stella quickly left to stroll around the city, being claustrophobic and not wanting to get caught up with the rushing crowd. As soon she was sure she had ducked away from the crowd, Stella pulled out a map she had in her bag, seeing the lighthouse, she remembered why Olivine City was such a big tourist attraction. "The lighthouse. Right." She said aloud, beginning to walk in that direction, hoping not too many people would be around. Oddish had fallen asleep at this point.
  6. Alright. I'll go to the light house. Because why not? I think it'd be useful, but as said by the Pink... ie Pie.
  7. Stella looked over at the land nearing. It looked much less tropical then what she preferred, but wasn't about to judge by outward appearances for once. Leaning a bit more against the shiny metal railing stopping her from falling into the water, she blew the bit of red hair draped over her eyes away, and picked up one of the pokeballs she had attached to a metal chain around her neck, and summoned the pokemon inside. "Oddish!" she called, letting out the small pokemon. It had been a while since Oddish had been out of her pokeball. Stella wasn't the kind to get very attached, but wanted her partner to start the journey with her. Oddish blinked suprised as she was let out in a red glow, and yawned, before jumping into her trainer's arms. Stella sighed softly, as they neared land. She minimized the pokeball again and reattached it to the chain, standing up straight to exit the boat. "Finally." She thought as they stepped off of the boat and into the new region. Oddish yawned again, not excited for the journey at all. (EDIT: OOC: Forgot to ask; do we already know we are meeting, or is it a coincidence thing?)

Cadence thrown out the window not surprised. But, yay Trixie. :3

  8. Well, technically going left is a change of pace from going right. I'm not trying to shun anyone. I'm trying to get a decent answer, before I re-review this episode.
  9. Sorry. Already high priest in Trixieism. :/
  10. Just a heads up: I actually may leave if this becomes advanced. Like I said before; I'm not that good at exposition.
  11. Nope. I'm asking for a validated opinion. And; I've been on far too many threads where I'm been shunned away due to not liking the finale. So a change of pace isn't bad. I also didn't say that that invalidates your opinion. I'm asking for you to confirm why the songs were good. But; I agree the plot was not very predictable. Provided I didn't know that it was going to end with Twilicorn, but I'm pretending I knew nothing for this thread, so yea.
  12. Well, yes. And I'm talking about how the story is conveyed. The songs could be crap, and it would still do the same thing for the plot. Plus; if you like it for the songs, that's fine. I didn't like the songs though. I'm asking for a reason. (And I didn't find them catchy, like at all. Which is what everyone has been saying)
  13. As I said already, what if I didn't know that? Then I would just take it for what it is, and it's not good. But, I see your point. Uhm. Ya. Songs are a bit less heavy weighted then the main point of a snack. So it does make sense... quite a bit.
  14. I would suggest reading the OP again. I specifically said that the songs quality weren't one of the things I wanted to be an answer. The plot was a good idea, as I said. But it wasn't executed well. I didn't even notice many nice visuals; but it's this show, so I'm sure it was stellar. Regardless; eye candy is generally not why I like something (Except maybe with Moulin Rouge) Oh, sorry. Must have passed over that bit. ^^' I was just skimming, but I'll re read it sooonnn. Fair enough. I just like actual reason, personally. All your other points are what I'm thinking too.
  15. Basically, you're reason is that it tried to do something, but failed miserably? And that's why you like it? Kay. Fair enough. Though you mention no cons. I apologize: But I can't take a completely biased review seriously.
  16. People are actually agreeing with me? What sorcery is this? Well, yes. I completely agree. But like I said in the OP: What if I didn't know that? I would only know of the stand alone. So yea.
  17. While I hate to bore you all with yet another thread about the finale; I would quite like an answer to this. (Sorry if existent - Search did not find anything) Well anyways; I would really like to know why everyone seems to be backing up this episode so much. Why am I asking this? Well; I haven't gotten a single answer yet. I've only heard "I just liked it." or "The songs were good." or even "I know it was rushed, but I liked how they were experimenting, which makes it a good episode." None of these are reasons I want. Songs are fine and dandy. I freaking loved The Flim Flam Brother's Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000. In fact; it's my favorite song of the show. But I didn't like the episode that much. Of course; songs made up half of this episode, so that point is valid. It's just not enough to love an episode. Experimenting is great! But; last time I mixed pizza and mint chocolate; it didn't taste too good. I didn't like it. I won't try it again. That's no reason to like something. And what most people are saying: "I just liked it." Why, though? I didn't; and I have multiple things to back up my opinion, while those saying this, don't. What I'm asking for is actual reasons. Also; don't say the premise was a good idea. I agree completely. I had so much hope for the idea, but it was executed awfully. A good idea is only worth anything if it's done well. And the last thing. I know that this is supposed to become a three parter. But that's also not a reason. For now; we have this. I am only asking why people like this. Alright. Thanks all of you who answer!

  20. Well; seeing as how many fans have left the fandom thinking other episodes will be like it is a thing. Being experimental is fine; but I'll still critique it like any other episode.
