LOL. You get to Megaton pretty quickly at least, but yeah, I know what ya mean. The town you started in in New Vegas was all cozy, it just sucked that you didn't have a place to stay. I didn't get a place in that game until I got to that motel town where Boone was at. So I'm guessing your favorite thing about the games is the world and general aesthetic of the setting?

As well as the characters and the vast amount of dialogue options. I like extensive dialogue trees and the Fallout series tends to deliver there very well.

Yeah, dialogue trees are definitely a plus (love me some Mass Effect as well). I love exploring the Wasteland, although I'll admit I often get the Wasteland map perk just cause it unveils the whole map and makes exploring a whole lot easier. Vaults are probably the best since they're so huge and ya never know what you're gonna find, though you can almost be guaranteed it's something bad.
