Candy Floss

Candy was born in Coltchester near Trottingham, her mother Pink Lemonade, a failed model, made sure she was born tall and slender by behaving in a special way while pregnant with her hoping to achieve a career through her daughter instead, pushing her into a life of modelling. She was homeschooled and only taught how to look pretty, with lessons on attitude, make up and proper posture dominating her childhood. Living with her parents wasn't easy as her father Cash Flow abused her mother due to his failing wealth. When she turned 16 her family moved her to Manehattan to enter her into the city's busy modelling scene, ignoring her protests, her dreams of being a dress-maker were crushed by their forcefulness. The industry did not treat her well, focusing on her beauty over her personality and constantly objectifying her and she found herself abused in many horrible ways, some of which confused her sexuality. After a particularly harrowing shoot for an adult magazine she ran into the streets of Manehattan and cried in the rain, confused about who she was and who she really wanted to be, she was met by an equally depressed Fine Gourmet who'd had enough of his parent's equally terrible attitudes. The two went to a bar and bonded over their experiences, with Gourmet realising she was in a much worse state and doing everything he could, with not too much success, to stop her getting too drunk and angry. He managed to finally get her home and spent the night with her, taking care of her the next day and befriending her properly while she was sober, he vowed to act as her wing-pony to find her a stallion who actually cared about her for more than just her looks. After failing to find success with the stallions she finally fell for somepony, a mare called Soft Silk, who introduced her to a much friendlier modelling industry where the cameras were more interested in what they were wearing rather than what they weren't. Gourmet and Silk helped her mother escape for an abusive relationship and she and her daughter are now close friends. 

She now co-owns and models for a modelling company alongside Soft Silk and has a strong bond with her, the two often do shoots together as a couple. She is still very good friends with Gourmet and meets him weekly for drinks and life updates, she is much happier now and does not feel objectified though she is still getting over her depression and alcoholism. Her mother also works as a model and make-up artist for Soft Silk.

Candy Floss's upbringing has made her an odd soul. She is very beautiful and often talks with a posh tone, which is only increased by her Trottingham accent, but she isn't like a lot of other models in her industry. She isn't shallow and believes in true beauty over physical beauty, she is always trying to be like her friend Fine Gourmet and wants to help ponies discover their true paths in life, and so she is very friendly and very kind and is always somepony you can have a laugh with.

She can be short-tempered, especially when she's drunk which isn't a rare occurrence due to her past, but she never gets physical and she usually calms down very quickly and becomes very apologetic instead. Some ponies find her to be a little forceful when she's angry or in a particular mindset and she can be surprisingly strong when she needs to be. She still hates her parents and the main modelling industry for what they did to her.

She is very much in love with her girlfriend Soft Silk and enjoys being called Flossie as a pet name, though she is Candy to every pony else and gets huffy if somepony besides Silk tries to use Flossie instead, though Fine Gourmet can sometimes get away with it as she still has a deep affection for him. She rarely gets angry at those she cares deeply about.

Candy is a tall pink unicorn mare with a similar build to Princess Cadence. She has long, slightly curled purple hair with yellow highlights and deep purple eyes usually surrounded by mascara and eyeshadow in her favourite colour, light blue. Many ponies compare her to Princess Cadence and she often performs as her in some of her photoshoots, wearing fake wings and altering her mane-style slightly to match.

Her cutie-mark is a stick of candy floss, it appeared when she took part in a youth beauty-pagent with a candy theme and she believes it represents her love for all things sweet as well as her aversion to the modelling industry as it does not relate to modelling at all.
