Moon Phoenix

Moon Phoenix is a Pegasus from a small town on the boarders of the Dragon lands. 

As Grape fizzle grew up in a family of bakers  she found that she was different from many of her family in that she couldn't bake and what she did bake was burnt so badly it could be used to hammer a nail in. she also saw she was different from her friends because she would stay up all night and fall asleep most of the time at school because she just couldn't bare not looking at the moon. as tensions grew between her parents, teacher and her. so did her urge to run away. and after a very long fight with her parents about her falling asleep in class, she decided that, this would be the day she would run away. she packed her things with tears still flowing from her eyes and snuck out her rooms window. trotting further towards the Dragons land, she found herself to be lost in a massive forest. as she sat crying in that massive forest, she heard a crack, a pop, and a drop. she saw a egg that fell from a tall tree and rushed to it and examined it. it was unlike any egg he had ever seen in her entire life. she snapped out of her curious examination of the egg and flew up to nest after nest trying to find similar eggs, but only after flying above the tree, did she see the nest. sat on top the tree she found that the moons rays were directly on the eggs. she held the egg directly into the moon ray, and as she did, a burst of white light came from the egg, the a trail of purple going up, as her eyes adjusted to the light, she saw the beautiful creature in front of her. the small creature the laded on her head, nuzzling her cheek. in that moment she got her cutie mark, running home minutes later with five baby birds on her back she slammed open the front door and swiftly and happily went to her room. setting up little nests for each of them in little crates.

after a few days she headed to Canterlot with her parents. on a mission to see if their daughter actually found a new species or not. after a long talk and examination with the princess, they deemed that the young filly named grape fizzle did indeed discover a new bird, specifically a Moon Phoenix. Grape Fizzle took so much pride in her cutie mark and new bird friends that she changed her name to Moon Phoenix.

after years traveling around Equestria, now an adult Moon phoenix. she decided to settle down in a sanctuary she built since she was a teen, with her birds, taking in any and all moon phoenixes she sees need a home, place to heal or just want their eggs to be safe from predators.

Moon Phoenix is a very calm mare, she doesn't like conflict and avoids ponies if she can.

ever since she got her cutie mark, he hasn't made friends due to her being absorbed in her work with the moon phoenixes.

she is a very nurturing caretaker and loves to cuddle and play with the Moon phoenixes. she acts completely different when she is with her moon phoenixes, she acts outgoing, confident and very playful. 

around any creatures other then the moon phoenixes, she is she, quiet and ill most likely just avoid others all together if she can.
