Heya guys! Vortex here. To keep from anyone messing this up, I INSISTED on retelling this myself. My writing will be in red, as usual. For the sake of your eyes, I wrote this in a readable easy instead of my usual “confusing” derp text.
So my creator was making new ocs for each mlp generation. She had just found out about pony life and began making an oc for that. She noticed that pony life used the same characters as FiM, but she dismissed that. Instead of reusing her Gen 4 OC, she began making an entirely different pony. That pony reused the same cutiemark, though. Later, she realized she made a mistake and this would cause the gen 4 and gen 4.5 lore to clash with her oc. This caused the oc’s production to stop at 41%. However, she still needed to use the unfinished oc. Using the unfinished oc clashed even more as different RPs, stories, and events it participated in required it to be finished. This caused creator to hastily put together the oc. Because it was hastily made, she went back to edit it a LOT. Sometimes, she would edit the oc during an rp. When the oc RPs, it is conscious. So when it was being edited during an RP, it saw itself being edited. From that point on, every time it was edited, it took the time to observe its surroundings and learn how they worked. The oc was created and edited in the brain, so the oc learned how to copy the brain’s electrical pulses and patterns, eventually learning to control what it thinks. Because the oc can now control how the brain thinks, it can now manipulate whatever it wants in RPs, stories, etc., effectively making it an OP. However, it is only OP within its own playing field. If the oc is outside of the brain, it is powerless and just as capable as any background pony. Therefore, in the canon universe, RP, and any location other than the creator’s brain, the oc is powerless asides from unicorn magic.
The oc’s “craziness” comes from the hasty writing process and having ten or so different concepts and/or backstories for every RP. The backstories each had a different personality written in them. Because no backstory was more canon to the oc than the other, they all conflict each other. The conflicting personalities set the oc’s mind off.
She’s got quite a few screws loose,
and nails,
and bolts,
and boards,
basically everything’s a bit out of whack.
