Backstory:

In his younger & more intact youth, Widdershins was found unconscious in a field by Celestia & Luna when they were fillies. Then Widdershins had been primarily but an inexplicable, human-sized ferret of magical promise, but not much more query was put into beyond simply classifying him as a Draconequus. As they grew older, the sisters were groomed & grew into royalty and young leaders of the new, budding nation of Equestria with their little ferrety friend serving as an assistant & family friend.

But, as the two mares grew more accustomed to their governmental duties, more were hired to fill out the various hierarchies of government and with less need for him around & the mystery of just where he, as an older immortal of magic origin with none of his kind around still left unsolved, Widdershins left the two young mares he partially helped raise. He left one night with a portal of his own design & not much fanfare as more import was placed upon the two rulers than any of the few ponies he had gained any lasting semblance of a relationship with.

And thus began the largest phase of the young draconequus's life. The Endless Hunt. What had been just one hop into a similar dimension became another, then another. At first it had been about finding out just what species he was, then finding out just who counted of that species, then, finding no other draconequui to ask questions of, it became a quest of finding out what to live for. But Widdershins was immortal. Time after time, he outlived his goals, his friends, even the mare & family he had once married, outlived cultures, planets and finally his own memories. Widdershins had forgotten why he had left what he remembered as his home dimension, why he had taken such a risk in leaving what he now dwelt on as the only truly happy time he could remember. When things hadn't changed so fast through the endless blur of immortality.

But he had forgotten the way back, through so many countless portals and chases from one reality to the next. So many millennia were spent frantically trying to map a way back through uncountable dimensions & how to transverse them. It went mad, lost parts of himself. Slowly recreating himself through plugging in bodyparts that were handy into where chunks of him wouldn't come back, losing himself to its insanity, and eventually learning to accept his madness. This, is what got the attention of the inemitable consciousness of the Draconequui Species.

From whatever else that had happened in his past, Widdershins eventually found a way to look for the countless versions of Equestria. Several times he may have crossed into the realm of the specific Equestria he had came from in various stages of corporeality, but one thing or another occurred to cause him to continue his search. Whatever form of Equestria he may be in now, it may be just as well as he only vaguely resembles what he once was & the only thing he can still remember of his home is the forgiving fillies that once cared.

Personality:

Widdershins can be erratic, hyperactive, flighty, as explosively emotional as any young child and a drama queen. While most of his species can be seen as secretive, mysterious & aloof, Widders is playful to the point of not being able to take a hint, even if burned to ash. He feeds off of attention ( Though how literal that phrase is, is up for debate...) and this very likely springs from having spent far, far too long on his own floating in one void or another with only its own thoughts for company.

Widdershins will gladly go out of his way to help others as much as he can, even if expressly told that its not needed. While not in control of his Chaos Magic (Which... still, is how Chaos Magic works so... it doesn't really stop working, but... Magic Theory.) he uses it to grant wishes ironically, if even dangerously, to whomever finds themselves wishing out loud.  In other aspects though, his help is very much askew as he has much difficulty in differentiating how logic or cause & effect work from other dimensions he's lived in. He'll help you clean your house... but technically, fire sanitizes...

In fact, this draconequus can be described as "Violently Helpful." He's obtained a level of trusting naivete that can only be found in the immortals who have long since given up on holding the sanctity of keeping their own body intact. If you need a healthy stew prepared for dinner (hope you like seafood!) he'll not hesitate to tear off large chunks of himself to cook for your enjoyment. To him, its no great loss as most parts of him will spontaneously regenerate back.

Furthermore, if you're around Widdershins for more than a matter of seconds, he will consider you his best friend. He tends to worm his way into whatever may be bothering you & offer his own advice & aid for better or ill. As he has been around for long enough to forget just how old he is, he cares deeply that nobeing should ever feel as alone as he's felt.

A point he'll make clear to you no matter times you have to quite literally pull him off of you!

Physical Description:

List of Parts: One long-snouted head of a Llama, two huge, floppy, prehensile bunny ears, mismatched eyes(right smaller & more humanoid, left bigger & cow-like),an overgrown fluffy ruff of dirty-white neck fur, a ruddy-pink worm-like body covered in fine scales & broken up by wide, even bands of slightly redder hue.

Front Appendages: a purple tentacle & dark-red lobster claw he picked up in the Tentacle Dimension from some time he spent hanging out with some cat named Lulu, or something?

Rear Appendages:a mule's hoof & a gryphon claw he stole off a drunken pirate captain.

Two tails: a long, thin, green vine that usually loops around a shorter paddlefish fin. He also used to have wings but they "Sorta just flapped away at some point." Though, in case you ever catch them flopping past, one is a thick & rubbery fin-like wing whilst its conjoined twin is a thin, bony, skeletal wing. The latter likely that way due to Widder's way of landing on the ground in a grinding stop. Come to think of it, that is probably why they mutinied. (If you haven't noticed by now, he's a Draconequus)

As to his gender, Widdershins technically has none. He acts and sounds predominately male but sometime over the past several millennia he lost his *ahem*...."parts" and stopped caring about having them, to the point where he hasn't remembered to remake them.

Size,Height & Mass:5 feet standing  (about the height of a stallion on his back hooves), 13 feet from snout to tails.(Or as he calls it, 12 feet, 12 inches & twelve centimeters) His size varies according to his whims, but his mass stays around that of a large housecat. Despite how he usually seems longer & bigger then most ponies, because of low mass, a hollow body & the openings for theatrics it grants him, the weakest of mares, or even picnic ants, can easily carry him off.

Some amount of centuries ago Widdershins started losing his organs for one reason or another. As an immortal being losing such systems couldn't kill him so he began to see such matters as breathing or eating as unnecessary & decided to just replace his innards with a pocket dimension. He still does eat & breathe, but it's mostly to be polite when he's offered some or simply for show. Anything that disappears down his snout can be coughed back up whole or just magicked out at random. Despite being hollow & organless, Widdershins still can technically bleed. If hit in the body with a sizeable enough gash he will leak out a hazy purple magic. This doesn't hurt him any, but he would strongly recommend against you futzing around too much with it as even he doesn't know what it is or how it got there. In his head he still seems to have a bit of blood, enough for him to be capable of blushing or intentionally giving himself nosebleeds for comedic effect. This blood however comes out as light red, slightly sticky and smelling, feeling & even tasting like raspberry syrup. Which is a burr in his side as he hates raspberries.

Very little of Widdershin's original, organic material is still left. The majority of his long snout & face are entirely made out of a solid mass of hair & while he can still move his "lips" for expressions he can't open his own mouth without the aid of his numerous tongues.

Ever since he was first told about Nightmare Night and its traditions of dressing up in costume, he started his own tradition of stripping himself down to his remaining organic material & going as a sort of ghostly, skeletal Chinese-parade-dragon shape. Aside from the loosely attached, bare bands of his body that seem to hover though the air around the purple magic core, the "skull" of what remains of his face is both noseless & eyeless with only a half-foot spiky projections that stick out where his ears begin. There's also a little white whispy orb that seems to ping from end to his end through the central purple core. He couldn't really tell you what that is other then it hurts if you manage to poke it. But don't worry too much about his Organic form. He only hauls that parlor trick out on Nightmare Night & he's been warned constantly against doing that. Any stray, curious hooves that find their way into the cloud of magic that keeps him together can trigger any effect from random reality redistribution, teleportation, deboning, defleshing, recoloration, temporary superpowers or just simply no result at all. He does try to hover out of reach though when he does, which is pretty much the only precaution he takes against that.
