Species: Earth Pony

Appearance: Taller than average, athletic build. A soft light blue tinge to the coat, both mane and tail are silvery grey with streaks of white, although not lustrous. Eyes are a warm orange. Never seen outdoors without wearing a grey top hat.

Cutie Mark: A waffle cone of ice cream.

Personality: Suave and invariably polite and affable to everypony he meets (and especially to the ladies). He considers social interaction as a game that he already knows how to consistently win, and as a result tries to help other players. His insufferable jovial attitude usually disarms the quite correct arguments that he can be uncomfortably frank and sharply snarky. Some ponies become disconcerted by how he often will singularly focus on the pony who's talking, or the point of attention.<br />He takes the idea to heart that ponies often don't care what a pony knows, they want to know how much a pony cares.

Backstory: Got his cutie mark working as an ice cream vendor, but he always found the discovery unusual, and so he continues to pursue the thought that there is deeper significance to his cutie mark.<br />Blue Smooth has lived in Ponyville all his life, son of the second Smooth Sister, Creamy Smooth. (The Smooth Sisters is a creamery company.) He attended Post-Graduate Studies at the University of Canterlot as well as a course challenge to the Equestria Ministry of Defence Academy (which he failed, but not by much.) Some take his often focused expressions and single-minded attention as hints that he didn't really fail the course challenge and he's actually training to be an undercover spy. While that's wrong, ponies often make that joke around him.
