Personality: While very bright and competent, Bridget Steel is often unsure of herself. She tends to see herself as a failure, despite all of her achievements, leading to a few suicide attempts.

Backstory: Bridget Steel was born in Baltimare and moved frequently while she was a filly between Baltimare, Fillydelphia and Manehattan. Even while she was young it was clear that she had a knack for engineering. She earned her cutie mark while on a camping trip with her friends and built a makeshift bridge so they could cross a river. When she became a mare, she moved to Canterlot to redesign Equestria's rail network. Last year, Princess Celestia promoted her to Chief of the Rail Ministry when she introduced Equestria to steam-powered trains to replace the pony drawn trains. Such a position has allowed her to connect with the Canterlot elite.
