Appearance: Buck Hill has orange fur with a few patches of dirt that he got after plowing, planting and so on in his farm for more than 20 years. He has a brown mane, and just so everypony knows, it isn't from the dirt. His eyes are hazel and he's quite strong, but he's not exactly agile or quick.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is, surprise, surprise, a plow. He has quite a splendid eye for plowing, and he does a great job of it. He never misses a spot on his farm, no matter how hard it is to get there.

Personality: Buck Hill takes his work very seriously, and based on the fact that he does a lot of work, it is easy to think he's always serious. However, under those many layers of dirt and work, he's a bright fellow and likes to have a laugh whenever his farm doesn't need him.

Backstory: Buck Hill grew up with a terrible education. He was home schooled, and after his parents taught them all they knew (about farming), they finally moved away to Ponyville a few miles away to retire from the back-bending work, and left the farm in their sons hands. He has expertly taken care of the land for about 30 years now, and nopony could stop him from continuing if they tried...
