Appearance: Carapace is a changeling. He used to look like a normal drone, but after 10 years away from his hive he has noticed his exoskeleton beginning to change and thicken, in places it has become an armored shell. His horn has grown as well and his orginal wings have shift and become longer with a small set growing in below it. These changes concern him but he has never felt stronger.

Personality: He used to despise ponies and was vicious with a quick temper. However with his exile from his hive and the 10 years among ponies he has learned patience and devloped a grudging respect for the pony race. He still sees them as nothing but entertainment and food though.

Backstory: Carapace was part of his hives initial infiltration commandos. He was exiled from his hive when he murdered another drone in cold blood. He drone had confessed to him that he had developed actual feelings for one of the ponies he was feeding off, disgusted and concerned that the drone would expose them to protect the pony he beat the life out of the drone.<br /><br />It was not his place to take the life of another drone so he was exiled. Separation from the queen is said to always end with a drone starving to death but Carapace didn't die. He found his way into Manehattan and there he made himself at home in the red light district, it wasn't good or pure love but it sustained him.<br /><br />Before long he became involved with one of the Manehattan Mobs.
