Appearance: Clarity has a white, smooth coat with a long blue mane that she constantly keeps tied up, because although she loves beauty, she doesn't like it more than it appearing in front of her face, possibly losing a stroke or two of her quill.
Cutie Mark: The cutie mark on this pony's flank is a quill in an ink bottle. Clarity is a great lover of writing and arts and had tried to weave a story of her own when she was a filly, resulting in the mark.
Personality: Clarity is sophisticated and dislikes getting dirty, always worried about her carefully tied mane. Her magic isn't quite strong, but the horn's magic can create a beautiful art simply out of a quill and a piece of paper. She believes in keeping everything as clear and clean as possible, thus making her believe that all the clarity she wants to tell can be expressed on paper. However, she isn't very social, and tends to get irritated when others interrupt her work.
Backstory: Clarity was born in Manehatten and lived next door to the Oranges. Her parents love to travel and explore culture. The filly didn't think much of it until they came across an art museum, where Clarity began to understand the facstination of arts. A visit to the library was followed soon after, and from that point on, Clarity never goes out again if she could help it, preferring to stay inside, weaving a piece of art or a story. Her arts and writings sold well in the populous city in Manehatten.

However, Clarity now works in Ponyville, from a request of her friend Leaf Shade. She personally dislikes the muddy old roads of the town and misses her own private office and home in Manehatten. Plus, she now has a rival in clothes' arts in Carousel Boutique and didn't sell quite as good as before. She didn't feel that Ponyville's residents appreciated any of the sophisticated art, while Manehattenites had. Clarity feels quite homesick now and then! However, she told herself, it's just one more year. One more year until she can finally go back to her hometown.
