Appearance: His fur coat is orange, his mane is has a unique style to it and brown (his tail is the same color and looks like flames going downwards), and he wears an accessory called a "techno monocle".

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a nice, hot cup of coffee.

Personality: When he enjoys a cup of coffee, he is somewhat calm. However, after a WHOLE LOT of coffee, he starts to become hyper and suffers a case of insomnia if drunken before he sleeps. Whenever he is hyper, he starts to blurt out the first thing in his mind when somepony starts a conversation with him. If he doesn't drink coffee for a while, he starts to feel a bit drowsy due to his body maintaining homeostasis after the caffeine starts to exit his body. This results him sometimes be unable to reply a pony's conversation with him. His attitude and reaction towards something when none of these events are present is the same as everypony else.

Backstory: Dark Roast's history is somewhat unknown. What was known of him is that when he was a little filly, he once drank coffee given by his dad and became addicted to it because of its "special" and hot taste. Things also known about him was that years later after his first taste of coffee, he had become a techno-addict from the technology's entertainment. Once, he had enough bits to buy a new brand of technology: a "techno monocle". Once he tried it on, he didn't know all its functions at first, but after a bit of getting used to voice command and selecting choices by just looking at it with his eye, he started to wear it almost every day. Exceptions may be during a shower/bath, and when sleeping.
