Appearance: he is somwhat short, with blue fur and a long blue-purple mane. he's a bit on the skinny side, and not necessarily strong either. his mussle is more rounded than most Stallions, and he is often mistaken for a girl (and not a bad-looking one, so he's been told).

Cutie Mark: simply a quil dipped in ink, though on the feathered side rather than the stem. he's actually not entirely sure what it means; he has a great love of writing and journaling, but he can't for the life of him figure out why the ink is on the wrong side.

Personality: he is rather introspective; often zoning out with a glazed look in his eyes. he loves to write and is very creative. he also loves to see new things; mountains, rivers, valleys, wildlife, nature in general. so he never stays long in one place, often leaving to find something new to see. as a result, he doesn't have very many friends.

Backstory: he is an orphan raised in Fillydalphia. he was never actually adopted; he spent his childhood in the orphanage. most ponies seemed to avoid him alot; the other orphans, Fillies at school, etc. he often read adventure books in his room, relishing in the fiction. one day all the stories he read seemed to merge in his mind, and become a creation of his own. the more he thought about it, the more he loved it. it was the story of Featherdrop, the charming alicorn from mars who fought major political figures. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time... so he wrote it down. and that's when he got his cutie mark. one day he had a rather radical idea; it's fun to read about adventures, it's really fun to write about adventures, so it must be awesome to actually have one! he hated the orphanage. he never felt like anyone cared about him . he was strange, but he didn't have to be shunned! so he ran away. and never came back.
