Appearance: Felix has a rather feminine look due to his manecut and overall body shape. At the same time, though, some particular aspects, such as the washed-out grey marks all over his body, give him the odd resemblance to a ghost or a spirit when seen in the low light. Most of the times, he appears to be tired and somewhat sad.<br />---

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is a red cross, which also slightly resembles a rose. It represents his talent in aiding those in need, as well as his softness and kindness.<br />---

Personality: Felix’s most notable characteristic is his calmness. He has a very stable attitude, and is hardly bothered by any external factors, enabling him to concentrate and not panic during most situations. This, sometimes, may cause him to be seen as an emotionless fiend of some sort. But under that somewhat gloomy aura he emits, he is very kind hearted and caring.<br /><br />His physical appearance is hardly appealing at first glance, causing most ponies to bypass and avoid him. He’s easily disappointed and sometimes feels lonely, though it’s always hard to tell due to his usual quietness. Felix practices the called “silent suffering”, where he isolates himself whenever he’s stricken by a negative feeling. This is also caused by his low self-esteem.<br /><br />Felix is extremely smart and sensible for his age, though his brain rarely makes up for his overall weakness. He acknowledges that he’s rather dependent of his fellows and may sometimes even fully rely on their cooperation, making him a quite naïve pony.<br /><br />Felix is also really sensitive. He gets touched by the most irrelevant and silly things, which only strengthens his will to take care of the others in order to avoid crying or even feeling guilty; He dedicates most of his time to study health and nursing, and he’s very proud to be, generally, useful in aiding and healing those who are injured or ill.<br /><br />He is usually carrying around with him his saddlebag, which contains, aside from the few personal items, a couple of books and first-aid tools. His dream is to become a successful medic, just like his grandfather was.<br />---

Backstory: Trotelvania is a dark, eerie place separated from Equestria and even forgotten by Princess Celestia herself. The city lies hidden within the extreme depths of the Everfree Forest, where the sunlight no longer brightens the terrifying grey and gloomy atmosphere. This miserable location, consisting mostly of slums and smaller rich areas, is ruled by its own King (whose name and appearance are known by very few) due to the existent conspiracy against Celestia and the Royal Family, originated from early territorial disputes.<br /><br />Being born in a rich family in Trotelvania is very difficult due to the predominance of poverty. Felix, himself, is son of ordinary street merchants. The reality behind everything that comes and goes from such markets and many other areas inside Trotelvania is way too shocking for innocent minds to acknowledge, so the young colt was never allowed to step out from his parent’s protective watch. Luckily he never did.<br /><br />When they didn’t have the time to look after Felix, his grandfather did the task instead. His grandfather was a famous doctor inside Trotelvania’s slums, taking care of and healing the – many – ill and needy ponies from there. Felix, for one, loved to spend time with him. In the colt’s eyes, his grandfather was like a hero saving lives.<br /><br />The healthcare system of the slums was far from being descent: most medical tools were broken, they lacked qualified medics and nurses (since most of them worked for the rich inside the city’s castle) and they even hadn’t proper installations: the “hospitals” consisted of camps with a couple of large tents. Nevertheless, he was a very proud doctor, and his grandson wanted to follow his steps with sparkling eyes.<br /><br />Felix dedicated most of his free time to read and study about nursing and general health. At the age of seven, more or less, he could already diagnose and even cure a considerably wide variety of wounds and diseases. This only enhanced his will to continue studying and get better at taking care of the others. It was then, at a young age, that Felix received his cutie mark.<br /><br />The life in Trotelvania – more specifically, Trotelvania’s slums – has always been rather tough. It is a dangerous place (aside from the many other facts that were better remained unseen) and the low life expectancy due to the poverty was also hard to cope with. But leaving the city wasn’t all that easy either: not only the trip to the Equestria border was enormously long, but Trotelvania’s King did not allow any kind of contact whatsoever between his and Princess Celestia’s “subjects”. That’s why escapes needed to be performed in complete secrecy.<br /><br />A caravan was planning on fleeing from the city during the night, Felix and his family being part of it. His parents wanted for him a learning environment worthy of a prodigy such as himself, so they decided to move and try to mingle with the Equestria folk - after all, they didn’t despise them as much as their King did. However, their plan was soon discovered by the King’s guards.<br /><br />After a huge commotion, his family ended up getting arrested, but Felix managed to run away into the forest. Crying and sobbing uncontrollably, he kept on running for hours towards the forest, in the opposite direction of Trotelvania, until he started feeling dizzy due to the extreme tiredness and fear. He was able to see a zebra from a distance - who also spotted him right away - before the colt fainted.<br /><br />Felix then woke up inside the zebra’s hut, wrapped in a blanket and being fed natural remedies. After thanking the kind figure, he proceeded to tell about what had happened, and that his parents only wanted him to move to a better place for study. The zebra, then, mentioned Canterlot as being one of the most academic cities in Equestria. Wiping his tears, swallowing his pride and accompanied by his savior, Felix moved into Canterlot. There he resided ever since.<br /><br />Nowadays, Felix still lives in Canterlot with an adoptive family and studies medicine, striving to become the successful doctor he and his family always wanted him to be.<br />---
