Backstory: Fire Crackle was born into a family who owned and operated a chain of bookstores/libraries. As a young colt, he couldn't help but raise a ruckus in the quiet buildings and was usually put in back to sort out the books. His father, Dewey Dessie (Dewey Decimal System puns heheh) and Mother, Mint Copy (known for her vast collection of mint condition wares) were kind ponies who loved their son. Nevertheless they needed peace and quiet for their business, but their son could never sit still or stay quiet. One fateful night, his mother and father were invited to the Grand Galloping Gala. While his parents were inside, he sat outside in the gardens. The young colt was getting very tired and cranky, when a volley of explosions sounded off in the sky. He looked up and saw that the sky had lit up with beautiful colors! Fireworks!! The smell of the sulfur, the loud sound vibrating in his rib cage, the bright colors! He loved it! He wanted more! A bright yellow and red bottle rocket appeared on his flank and he soon knew what his destiny was. Fire Crackle hesitantly left his parents and headed off for Ponyville to open up his own fireworks store.<br /><br /> <br /><br />Fire Crackle is a social butterfly and also a little on the “in-your-face” side. He’s the first to pick fights and the first to anyone’s aid. Punch first, ask questions later. He enjoys being around people who keep the mood light and often diffuses situations with humor (which sometimes, he needs to get to the root of the problem instead of covering it up) Crackle is a big fan of pop art, “melty” coloring styles and KyaryPamyuPamyu ANYTHING. He’s also unintentionally big on temper tantrums. Nothing’s going right today? Get fussy! Stomp your hooves and flop yourself on the ground. Beat your wings and screech until the anger steams all out. Repeat as necessary. Nonetheless, he is a pony who keeps his word and works hard until the job is done perfectly. Crackle really enjoys festivities and loves to be where the party is, and often flies fight into whatever fireworks he’s just set off (why I made him a Pegasus). This overstimulation causes him to be a quite restless, so a constant sleep pattern is something he’s never had. But he’s got sporadic naps down pat. Fire Crackle doesn’t pick up well on emotions or romance, so flirting goes completely over his head while when someone is upset, he’s not very good with extended periods of time comforting unless he’s incredibly close with the pony (only a few best friends will he spend hours on end making them feel better). For a pony who enjoys parties and fireworks as much as he does, Fire Crackle is the kind of stallion who really enjoys knowing exactly what he’s getting. He likes to listen to the same music, watching the same movies and TV shows, eating the same food, etc. Fire Crackle has an intense fear of uncertainty. Being the future, aliens, the ocean/murky water, new ANYTHING and the dark. He really doesn’t like the fact that he isn’t in control of everything in his life. Fate has a way of deciding things, and he isn’t fond of that (which adds to his frustration hissy fits). <br /><br />more to be added? need a little more fleshing out c:
