Appearance: She is a red pegasus with scruffy, fiery red hair that has a light lighning bolt streak down the middle. She has deep purple eyes that sometimes look green-ish in the sunlight. She is also a lot smaller than the average pegasus.
Also, when she flies past 45 miles per hour, she leaves behind her a trail of fire; burning up things by accident is her specialty.
Cutie Mark: Fireball's cutie mark is a comet on fire. She earned it when she won her first race. It represents her speed. It also defined her destiny: to work at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory as a Comet Guide.
Personality: Fireball Rush is a very outgoing, friendly pony, who loves to enjoy herself. She has a strange fascination with fire, hence her name and Cutie Mark. She is usually found hanging out with her friends or working on a project; she is very creative. However, if she gets angry, she WILL get angry, and cause destruction. She is highly prone to jealousy, and arrogance, and she is also very impatient. When she has accomplished something, she knows that she is worthy of her praise, and will not let anypony say otherwise. Nevertheless, Fireball is a very friendly pegasus, and is always ready to make new friends. She is also immune to fire, and her weakness is water.
Backstory: Fireball was born in Trottingham. Up to this day, she still has the accent. When she turned 7, her family moved to Ponyville, and there she attended school. As she grew older and her wings started to get stronger, her parents enrolled her in Cloudsdale Flight School.
Flight school was never much of an issue to talk about, but her height soon caught the attention of many juvenile pegasi, who were a lot taller than she was. For some reason, they bullied her about it, and caused her to lose her self-esteem. For many days Fireball refused to go to school, or show her face in public. But when she earned her Cutie Mark, after winning a race that her friend had set up to cheer her up, they started to appreciate her more for who she was.
As she advanced into the higher classes of Flight School, she made many friends, but made a few enemies as well, due to her losing her temper when somepony made her angry. As a result, she tries her best to control it, because she has found out that making friends is much better than losing friends.
On turning 18, she finally found her job: Weather. Specifically, guiding or destroying comets and meteors that have ventured a bit too close to the Earth. Soon, she was hired at the Cloudsdale Weather Factory, in the 'Solar System' section. She is usually required to do night shifts, but she's okay with that because she loves her job and wouldn't want any other. Sometimes on a clear, starless night you can see her guiding or pushing a comet that has gone astray. Recently though, she tends to get lazy, and shirks her duties, usually resulting in chaos and panic when a meteor or some other space-thing hits the Earth.
