Appearance: The things you might not pick up from the image.<br /><br />His right wing is broken, it has a permanent bend across the lateral bone where it is fractured, and it also bends to an odd angle when fully extended. <br />He can still use it to fly, however his flight is more forced and erratic than other pegasi, he flies in bursts instead of smoothly.

Cutie Mark: And old spyglass and a cutlass, crossed over a map.<br />His talent is finding lost things, adventuring and fighting.<br />

Personality: Gallant has a very straightforward attitude. He wont waste time sugarcoating things that need to be said, unless he really needs to keep his conversational partner in good stead. <br />He's also tight-lipped regarding anything about himself or his life, but he will very often begin to tell tales of his adventures, stopping himself suddenly when he realises he's doing so.

Backstory: For fear of being bullied himself - he became a bully in his school years. Strangely enough he would always defend his friends when they needed him, even against other bullies - he was no coward. <br />Eventually he grew out of his negative habits when he left school, however he still retained his fighting prowess - and his personal undefeated fighting record. <br /><br />Unable to find a job that held his interest, he quickly turned to the darker side of things; he became a mercenary for hire. He made his money by performing deeds for others, either physically hurting others, or simply finding things that where lost for others. Not all his work was dark, but it all paid well and contributed to his discovery of his cutiemark - finding things and fighting.<br /><br />When he hit 30, he put the mercenary life behind him - he had already earned enough money to set him for the rest of his life, but he wanted more than just to kick back and relax, he craved excitement and discovery. He has since travelled Equestria, both under the employment of others and under his own steam, hunting ancient artifacts and lost treasures, occasionally even discovering previously little-known places in the process.
