Backstory: House Moon and Star<br /><br />Auxiliaries<br />Comprised of earth ponies and pegasi. These soldiers are equipped worse than the unicorns of the house but still fairly well. These soldiers are only used to help insure unicorn ascendancy. <br /><br />Legionaries- teleport <br />The backbone of house Moon and Star. Using teleckenisis to weild their weapons, these soldiers are the descendants of the Unicorn Royal Guard of old, as such the military of the house is fairly small but they are very well trained and armed. Legionaries specialize on one of three spells: teleport, bubble shield and magic blast. The teleports are used to flank enemies by teleporting behind enemies lines. They are also used to harass enemies and draw enemies into the open.<br /><br /><br />Legionaries-bubble shield<br />These legionaries are used as breakthrough troops. They use bubble shields to protect themselves from any ranged attack so that they can close the distances between them and their enemies, but in order to attack they need to drop their bubble shields. There is a large group of them working 24/7 to keep up a large shield surrounding Canterlot. Only unicorns or creatures with enough magic can pass through this shield. However, casting this spell makes them vulnerable, and should they be attack from within the city and can no longer keep the spell up, the shield surrounding Canterlot will fall.<br /><br /><br />Legionaries-magic blast<br />These legionaries can shoot down pegasi. Their magic blast can deal devastating damage to enemies from afar. With the help of the legionaries-bubble shield, they make a powerful and deadly team.<br /><br />researchers<br />The researchers of the house search for new types of magics. Only the highest researchers know about the astral plane and are working with Twilight to help create a new pony race.<br /><br />Inquisitors<br />The celestial inquisition answers directly to Twilight and are lead by Trixie. No secret is safe once you get caught by the inquisitors. They are not part of the houses military but this doesnt mean they cant hold their own in battle. They torture information out of their ennemies and generally prefer to use fire.<br /><br /><br />Mage specialist<br />Mage specialist are stronger then legionaries and can use multiple spells. Their a group of mages that have a bigger and more specialized arsenal, such as walking on clouds for example. They are called for completing specific tasks for the house, like taking on an group of pegasi or retrieving a magical artifact for the house.<br /><br />Tartarus monsters<br />Deadly creatures that care only for destruction. These monsters are trapped within Tartarus and are guarded by the guard dog, Cerberus. The monsters are roughly pony sized, but can easily take on the most well armed and trained soldiers. They don't fight for house Moon and Star, they fight only for destruction and would even attack anyone who would freed them. Twilight has threatened to open a portal to Tartarus in the past. No one knows if she really could, but if she did, the monsters would have burned the city to the ground. If Twilight isn't careful, her house can suffer major losses.<br /><br />unicorn vanguard<br />The unicorn vanguard are the strongest mages in all of the house. Their are only 12 of them in the house and they are the highest class unicorns. They each have a title representing the zodiac. Able to cast age spells, they have a huge arsenal of spells. One unicorn vanguard can very well be the deciding factor in a battle. They work very close with Twilight Sparkle, and should be avoided at all cost.<br /><br /><br />Spike the dragon<br />Twilight had Spike artificially aged, as a side effect he has the mind of a child. He lives in the caves beneath Canterlot to scare off attackers. Spike answers to Twilight, but because he has the mind of a child he can easily be tricked. Though Being a huge dragon with the mind of a child makes him very dangerous and unpredictable. He is very huge and with his fire breath, he can lay waste to enemies forces in a battle with ease. Spike is also capable of flying.<br />
