Backstory: Inferno used to live in a quiet village in the forest, but was "persuaded to leave," even by his own parents, because of his wild use of his fire magic, and the fact that he nearly burned down the entire village. His old friends and family still write to him through a family member who lives in Canterlot, but they just don't want him too close for fear that he might lose control of his magic... again.
