Appearance: He is brown. His main is black and chooses to wear thick black glasses. He has a journal with him at almost all the time. His tail is black and is about the size of Rainbow Dash.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is an ink pen to the left of a piece of paper.

Personality: He is a calm person in general. He although loves to party and loves to write. The main things he writes are newspaper articles (that make it to front cover) and stories. He takes work seriously when writing anything.

Backstory: He was born as an alicorn because his parents are a unicorn and pegasus. His birthplace was Canterlot. His parents thought of him as a blessing. His parents were split between him becoming a Wonderbolt and a writer. Jot decided to choose to be a writer. He decided to move to PonyVille. There he takes a job as a reporter. One day he was out and about writing a story, and than saw Twilight Sparkle and has been in love with her ever since.
