Personality: Midnight is quiet, shy, and very gentle. However, if you threaten someone she loves, look out! She is also very loyal to her loved ones and will do anything to protect them from harm. She is a major tomboy and hates most "girly" things.

Backstory: Midnight was born in a secret realm of Equestria known as Simgonca. Her clan, the Silent Stars (also called "White Bloods" by other Equestrians due to their unusually white-colored blood), has been shunned by Equestrians for many years. The reason is that some members of the clan were very vicious, and as a result, they were deemed dangerous and banished from the land. They now live in hiding. Some are able to blend in with normal ponies. Unfortunately, Midnight wasn't so lucky. She was captured and forced to work as a slave in the rainbow factory. Her mate died shortly after, leaving her to look after her filly, whom she named Mourning Dove. She managed to keep Dove safe for a while. One day, she met Rainbow Dash, who helped her escape (obviously this has nothing to do with the fic Rainbow Factory). Overtime, Midnight helped show that her clan wasn't dangerous, and as a result, a few others gained the courage to come out of hiding...
