Cutie Mark: M.O's cutie mark is as follows: a brown leather notebook, open, with a calligraphy pen scribbling in it. It represents his love of writing as well as his hidden aspect of writing privately, like a diary.

Personality: M.O is a very shy pony, especially around the ladies. He is prone to stuttering and likes to keep his life as private as he can with little disruption. Though shy, he is a bit of a hopeless romantic.<br />Aside from that, M.O can be very fun loving and he desires adventure and thrills though he is too afraid to seek them out. The most thrilling things to happen to him is the rare occasion when somepony might want his autograph on a short story he wrote for the magazine he works for called Rigor Mortis; it's a horror themed magazine.

Backstory: Born into a very intellectual family of unicorns, he was born and named in the hopes that he would become a lawyer just like his father and his father before him, etc. Sadly, M.O was a bit of a sickly foal which still follows him today in the form of brief days when he can barely get out of bed. M.O also suffers from a couple of mental diseases that he prefers to not talk about.<br /><br />When his family moved to Canterlot when he was just starting out as a young adult, he felt great sadness for leaving their charming country home (located miles away from Ponyville). It was old, kind of rustic and a great inspiration for some of his first stories. M.O was always fascinated with the paranormal. He started writing very young and dared not to even tell his own mother who was an executive assistant in the law firm she met his father. Quite a story, but not relevant to poor Modus.<br /><br />When he finally received his cutie mark, M.O was expecting to be lectured by his father on how disappointed they were... on the contrary, he was supported. No matter what they expected of him, they still wanted him to be happy.<br /><br />Sadly, that logic didn't get him out of law school.<br /><br />Anyway, currently he is a year fresh from University and is currently writing short stories for a magazine called Rigor Mortis (as mentioned in the Personality block). He is paid per story, which isn't much money to begin with. But he is passionate and always looking for the next inspiration. <br /><br />He also lives with his parents still until he can find himself a place to stay. Preferably alone in the country.
