Appearance: Black fur, white shaggy mane, and silver eyes.

Cutie Mark: His cutie mark is an hourglass. It represents his powers of manipulation over sand.

Personality: He is always on edge and hates to be too close to ponies due to his curse. Despite his paranoia he is very protective of innocents. But usually hides all emotion, bottling it all up in an attempt to become detached.

Backstory: Long ago, before the elements of harmony were rediscovered; an ambitious and greedy earth pony led a notorious gang of criminals. This ponies name was quick, and ever since he was young, he was told by all that he was destined for greatness. Because of this mindset, he was vain and cruel; as well as selfish. His only wish was for power. After several years of being equestria's most notorious criminal, a mysterious witch cloaked in black told him that she could grant him great power; but at a cost. Upon hearing this, quick disregarded the cost as the thought of power was too tempting. The mysterious witch granted his desire, giving him power over the sands of the earth, as well as the ability to become sand himself. He could even drain the very moisture out of living creatures. With this ability, he became a truly threatening creature. But before he could take advantage of this, the cost that the witch warned him of was discovered. Anypony who he shared a positive bond with was fated to die. And soon, everypony close to him began to disappear; one after the other. Friends, family, even his band of criminals. One by one the curse took them. After losing so much, quick became desperate. He tried his best to find the witch, to be rid of this curse; but she'd seemingly disappeared. Quick now lives with his curse, attempting to use his powers for good instead of evil. He also still searches for the witch, trying to right his wrongs.
