Appearance: Roseblush is quite the interesting pegasus when it comes to appearance. Her coat - a very, very light pink - is decorated with odd but beautiful markings in a shade of wine red. They are found on her legs, snout, chest and cheek. Her eyes are of a light blue colour and so is her cutiemark. Her cutiemark took the shape of a rose.

Cutie Mark: Roseblush' cutiemark is a blue rose, resembling her love for dancing and everything elegant. It also marks freedom for her, in a way. While she is a ballet dancer, she earned her cutiemark while dancing the tango with a handsome young colt, who had a blue rose with him. <br /><br />Her parents always forced her to dance ballet and ballet only, but at the age of 15 she snuck out of the house one night and went to a party where all kinds of dancing were represented. When the colt asked her to dance she agreed, a bit shy at first, and then discovered that other dances were just as much fun as ballet, maybe even more.<br /><br />Due to her wearing a dress she didn't discover her cutiemark until she got home, but the blue rose of that gentlecolt she'll always remember.

Personality: At first sight Roseblush may seem a bit of a stuck-up individual. She likes to show off and is pretty loud about her status in general, often directly assuming that anypony who talks to her is a fan. All attention she gets is highly appreciated, though, and she usually shows kindness and gratefullness in return.<br /><br />Whenever she doesn't like the sound of something she'll be quick to tell the one who said it off. Roseblush may even be a bit of a spoiled brat and is used to a life of luxury. <br /><br />She is, however, a hard worker. The little time she has when she isn't training she usually spends on herself, as she doesn't really have any real friends. This makes her feel lonely at times, a feeling that she compensates by gaining appreciation of her fans. This causes her to be afraid to fail, because she would never want to disappoint her crowd. When she makes a mistake, she'll beat herself up about it, not caring if it was really her fault or not.

Backstory: Roseblush was born in Manehattan in a very rich family. As a filly, others expected her to be perfect, so she was. Ballet, good grades and good behaviour: Roseblush was the perfect filly. But her parents' strict way of raising her made her very different from the others. She didn't fit in well at a public school, so after some incidents happened she was immediately called home. She has been homeschooled ever since.<br /><br />Ever since she was young her parents had focused on finding her special talent. They were overjoyed when she proved to be a very talented ballet danceress, but quickly got frustrated when her cutiemark didn't appear. Hours of training went into it and while her talent had been picked up by the Royal Equestrian Ballet at age 13, she stayed a blankflank.<br /><br />It had already been decided: Roseblush would be prepared to be a ballet dancer in the Royal Ballet, from age 13 she was trained and pushed to her very limits. Needless to say, she didn't get a lot of social interaction with other ponies her age. <br /><br />At age 15 she started to get sick of it all. She felt lonely. This is when she started sneaking out of the house, going to parties or public places on her own. She wanted to meet other ponies. Eventually she found a group of ponies who she liked, they became her friends. They taught her to have fun and at one of the first parties they took her to she earned her cutiemark.<br /><br />The cutiemark had made her parents suspicious, however. They quickly abandoned her fake story and found out that she had been sneaking out repeadetly. That was enough for them to make a rash decision: They would move to Canterlot, where the Royal Equestrian Ballet was based. <br /><br />She stayed in Canterlot until she was old enough to travel with the ballet. Roseblush only performed as background danceress at first, but quickly became well known and even got her own show. Nowadays she is a well known danceress pony.<br />
