Cutie Mark: Shade has had absolute fascination with Storms and Wind patterns and when he was a young colt, discovered his unique ability to be able to track these patters. The cutie mark appeared one day when he was flying near The Everfree Forest and started to feel static in the air. He looked around but couldn't see any sign of any storm, yet couldn't help but physically feel a path to the source. He decided to follow this feeling and after many hours of flying, ending up many miles away from ponyville and cloudsdale he discovered he was incredible close to Baltimare, and there just in the distance was the start of the biggest storm he'd ever seen. He knew he should be scared by somehow wasn't, instead he felt intrigued and decided to investigate. As he flew closer and closer the static grew more, just as it had since he had flown from ponyville. Suddenly a bolt of lightning flew down towards him, and he braced for what he thought could be the end, yet instead it just seemed to feel slightly pleasant. It didn't hurt, didn't tickle, just pleasant. But after the sound of another bolt a little distance from him, he realised that this was something to figure out later. He flew as fast as he could to Baltimare to warn the towns folk. He had considered evacuating Baltimare and hiding but he knew that the town would just get destroyed. Instead he knew that this ability with the weather must mean something. Perhaps, he could control it. So instead, he rushed around Balitmare getting everypony to take cover in their houses. He left the job with a young filly named Pop Sprinkle (she seemed to have respect in the town and so seemed a sensible choice), and rushed off back to the storm. As he got closer he felt the winds growing ever stronger, and started to be pulled into the growing twister, and as he started to be spun around faster and faster he started flapping his wings. He used the twister to his advantage and used the circular momentum to gain more and more speed. He started to fly down towards the water and slowly but surely the twister was absorbed by the oceans and died down quickly. He flew back to Baltimare to find Pop Sprinkle and all the other ponies to see how they were. As he landed down next to Pop, he noticed a couple of ponies looking towards him, no wait... towards his Flank! He turned his head and looked, a tornado had appeared on his flank! He had just earned his cutie mark finally! After a short amount of time checking the ponies at Baltimare he started to head back to Ponyville.

Personality: Shade is a Pegasus of the night, and generally sleeps through the day. Thanks to this fact he has found it very difficult to make friends ever since Princess Celestia called on all the other Pegasi of the night to become her royal guard. Shade was offered this as well but he declined as he preferred to be able to stay home at cloudsdale.<br /><br />Shade is very friendly, helpful and caring. However he can be a little shy at time, but does always try his absolute best at everything he does.<br />

Backstory: Shade Twister is a Pegasus of the night and is a very keen flyer. He has been approached by the shadowbolts before thanks to the fact that he is a Pegasus of the night, but has declined every time. Shade Twister really just wants to be accepted into community of the day and is always trying to make pony friends in the day time. Shade twister, although a little shy always strives to do his best in everything he does! When he was a young colt, he discovered his fascination with wind patterns and his strange ability to track storms hence his cutie mark (see cutie mark backstory for more details).
