  • Sherlock Hooves (Flare Hooves)

    Felix

    • Age: 21

      Gender: Female

      Species: Pegasus

Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is a magnifying glass over a heart. It represents her love for freedom and nature and her natural personality in being a detective.

Personality: She is mature and usually does her best to take things seriously. Although, whenever her snout is not stuck in a case, she enjoys joking around a bit. Of course there's also that crazed messed up part of her mind, where she never cares about her fashion or looks. In order to disguise herself, she uses a great assortment of clothing that completely changes her looks. It's sometimes odd to see a young lady such like herself walk into a store to buy mens clothing and a fake mustache, but necessary.

Backstory: Ms. Flare Hooves wasn't always a detective. She used to be under complete control of her parents. They had lived in a large mansion with high tech security with millions of dollars. Her parents were mean and always gave her Lawyer lessons. They never told her why she needed them, but they simply said that it would all pay of one day. They were right. One day, her parents were accused of stealing all the money they currently had. The police had brought them to court, and Flare came with. It was at this moment that Flare realized she would be the lawyer. As soon as they sat down in front of the judge, all the other ponies of London moved forward in their seats, eager to hear what would happen. When the judge asked the question of what defense Flare should give them, she paused. This was her chance to be free, get away from her stuck up parents. Feeling a strange nerve, she stood up and accused them for stealing the money. Of corse they did, she remembered clearly that they used to be the poorest of the ponies in London. It never made any sense how they had suddenly shot up to the top spot in one day. So, they did, Mr and Mrs Hooves had stolen the money from the London bank. Her parents eyes grew wide. The judge had asked her for proof. She hadn't thought that part through, but even so, she remembered the tracking devices that were on every single one of the ponies in the Hooves family. Flare then brought up that point. The judge ripping of the tracking devices from each of their hind legs found dates on the devices. He looked back at March 21. Of course, there were small red dots running down several corners of London, to then stop at the bank. In several seconds, the dots came back out running faster than ever. The evidence was clear enough for the judge to rightfully, slam his hammer down, and yell the word "Guilty!" From that moment on, Flare became a free pony. Her parents would be in jail for a long time, in which, Flare would be long gone. She continued her ways of being a Lawyer, and was soon known as the worlds greatest detective.<br /> 3 years later, at the age of 21, on March 21, a newspaper was thrown against the front door of Flare's apartment building. She answered the front door to pick up the newspaper and look into the eyes of herself on the front page. The front page was quoted by the publishers own words. She looked to a paragraph that caught to her attention. "Never have i seen such a lawyer in my lifetime, that, in only 3 years, could rise to the top and become the worlds, or further more, London's, greatest detective. Ms. Hooves ought to be the #1 Sherlock Holmes of the century." Flare read the last part again. "Sherlock Holmes of the century." She liked the idea. While going back in her building for a pencil, she also brought in the newspaper and threw it onto the kitchen table. When back with the pencil, she took it and crossed out the word "Holmes" then replaced it with "Hooves." The line now read "Sherlock Hooves of the century" Flare liked the idea, and decidedly so, kept the name.
