Cutie Mark: <p> His Cutie Mark are the classic drama masks - the happy and the sad. It represents his passion for acting. </p>

Personality: <p> Shooting Star is a very kind pony. He tries to be as friendly and nice as he can to the others around him, trying hard not to disappoint anyone. However, this kindness also makes him rather gullible: he tends to trust ponies he shouldn't trust, and can be easily misled by them.<br /><br /> Like most of the other pegasi, his overall physical strength is below average - nearing poor, in his case. Because of that, Star prefers to solve his problems by talking and reasoning whenever he can do so instead of engaging in combat. He likes to call himself a "pacifist", though he's very often cruelly described as a "coward" (which he kind of is).<br /><br /> Though not exactly the shy type, it takes a fair while for him to get comfortable around new folk. When he does, he reveals himself to be very talkative and outgoing. Those characteristics, as well as a peculiarly fascinating ability in telling lies, were given to him by the many years he spent doing drama classes. In fact, his biggest passion is acting.<br /><br /> Other than the theater, his other likes include: books, technology (computers, video-games, etc.), travelling, making friends and oranges (the fruit, and the color). Some of his dislikes are: flying (says he, he's terrible at it), scary and dark places, storms and awkward situations. </p>

Backstory: <p> Born in Canterlot in a middle-class family, Shooting Star lived a very ordinary childhood, without much struggle. His father worked as a Royal Guard, whilst his mother was entirely dedicated on taking care of him.<br /><br /> Star went to school like all the other ponies his age, and has always had above-average grades. When he was around nine years old, he was invited to participate in the school's musical called The Cycle of the Moon.<br /><br /> He was unsure at first, but once he got to know the whole universe that hid behind the stage curtains, the colt instantly fell in love with the theater world. Ever since, he took part in all of the following school plays every year, progressively learning more about acting and progressively making of that a burning passion. In high school, he finally got his cutie mark which symbolized, needless to say, the passion he'd found.<br /><br /> Currently, he studies theatre at the Highgarden's Drama Institution, in Canterlot. He also works part-time at his family's convenience store, and often travels around Equestria, both for fun and to perform with his group. </p>
