Appearance: An assortment of pale hues, full gray undercoat with light silver patches. Her mane is a lighter smokey color with charcoal streaks, and she is usually seen wearing a black Barrett with a matching traveling cloak.
Her eyes, which are a bright, burnt orange, are the only parts of her that are not a shade of silver or gray.
Cutie Mark: A charcoal colored feather quill with sparkling silver ink dripping from the tip and onto an old leather book, symbolizing her natural ability to write and tell stories.
Personality: Stubborn, gruff, and slightly roguish, Silvia carries herself with the fire of someone who is passionate about a lot of things. She lacks patience and doesn't have much compassion to spare. While not completely apathetic, she has trouble showing empathy to others. Such characteristics often dominate her softer, more inquisitive nature.
Beneath the surface, she hides a curious and inquisitive side. She is inwardly easily fascinated and loves to discover new things. She is incredibly bright, and not easy to fool. Silvia is a writer and a reporter, enjoying copious amounts of fantasy novels and magic.
Her childish qualities are jealously guarded, as her job has left her feeling a little cynical and jaded about the world. She would rather it not "pollute" what she believes to be some of her best qualities.
Most ponies never really bothered her much, and as a result, her people skills are a little dull. She can sometimes come off as indifferent or somewhat disinterested, clueless, and maybe a little stand-offish.
In most RP's, she will typically become part of the events while reporting on them for a local newspaper.
Backstory: She had a fairly normal and blandly tame childhood, being an only child with supportive, encouraging parents. She started school with fairly high reading and writing averages. A born storyteller, Silvia went through school entertaining herself and others by writing short stories and reading them out to her peers. This eventually led to the appearance of her Cutie Mark. After discovering that she was on the right path, she began plotting full-length novels. Her stories eventually grew longer, and she decided to take up a career in writing.
After graduation, she traveled to Canterlot and became a reporter, while in her spare time working on her novels. She has only published one of her books, the first in a series of others. Her career as a reporter became more important to her as she slowly comes to realize that everywhere in the world, there is a story to tell. She is bound and determined to tell all she can about the Equestria and its inhabitants. As mentioned in the Personality section, this is usually how she will start out in any givin RP.
