Cutie Mark: Spotted Rich's magic makes him powerful at hypnosis and effecting ponies dreams. Capable of making a pony dream what he wants them to and believe what happened in their dream was real. He is also good at getting information out of dreaming ponies.

Personality: A bit of a jerk, he can be quite charming when he needs to be. Easily annoyed and willing to break the rules for his own gain, he has few friends. He is academically intelligent, capable of thinking up elaborate plans for using his sleep magic to his advantage.<br /><br />Fortunately, Rich is very unambitious. Not realizing the full potential of his magic, he sticks mainly to petty revenge and vandalism that cause very little long term damage to anyone.<br /><br />Rich will spend a lot of time snarking and pointing out problems or thinking up ways to annoy those around him.<br /><br />He does have a soft spot for children. He might tease them, but not maliciously.

Backstory: Born into a rich Trottingham family, he lives mainly on his family's wealth, but he does have some income, curing rich ponies of, insomnia, nightmares and other sleep related problems. Rarely, when Daddy's cut off his funds, Spotted Rich may inflict these problems on his customers in order for them to have pay for his services.<br /><br />He entered his homemade spotted dick dessert into the "National Dessert Competition." From the window he saw the MMMM being loading onto the train, so he decided to ruin it.<br /><br />During the night, he made energetic Pinkie Pie sleepy, as well as forcing Fluttershy, Rarity and Rainbow Dash dream nothing but wanting to try the cake.<br /><br />Despite his interference, the MMMM was entered into the competition (combined with 3 other desserts Rich didn't realize were on the train.) <br /><br />Even though he wasn't close to winning, Spotted Rich declared Pinkie Pie his nemesis and vowed to get revenge, even though the girl had never even met him.
